CA'LAMMA is a wide old stone house, built in the last centuries and restructured recently, on the Appennini, between Bologna and Florence. 350 meters high, fresh during Summer and above the fog during Winter. Our house is in a lovely setting, on a quiet road in the countryside, but only one km from the first bus stop on the main road. One to four Km far from the house there are typical foodshops, supermarkets, restaurants and sport activities (like horseriding, swimming, playing tennis, fishing, biking).
One of the great benefit of this location is that despite the rural location it enjoys a secure and peaceful outside space and is not far from the main artistic cities of northern Italy (Firenze, Ravenna, Ferrara, Mantova, Venezia)and about one hundred Km from the Adriatic beaches.
The apartment is bright and from all the windows you feel immersed in the nature with deer and squirrels coming in front of the house. It has two bedrooms and can accommodate up to four people. There are two floors.
On the first floor there is a living room with sofa and a small kitchen with all supplies opened on a terrace where is possible to have breakfast, lunch or dinner open-air, from Spring to Autumn.
A stair brings to the second floor where are a double bed room a twin bedroom with a bathroom for each room. Not far from the house there is a kitchen garden where salad and aromatic herbs are cultivated by the owners.
The main town is at 4 km. Archeological attractions are in the local Museum where etruscan finds are exposed. There is available an area for children and a tourist guide to visit the archeological site of Monte Bibele.
The location is ideal for reaching in fifteen minutes a beauty farm with a thermal warm water and conforteble and relaxing swimming pools, coverd and open-air, or for walking in a fascinating view where fossil shells are visible into the stones just looking around.
In forty minutes you can be in the center of Bologna where you'll never be short in entertainment- museums, libraries, cinemas, bars, pubs and restaurants. |
