My husband and I have just returned home from a wonderful, but brief winter get-away. The property is exactly as advertised! The furnishings and decor are excellent; the kitchen well supplied with nice tablesettings and cookware; the linens extremely comfortable; and most of all it was impeccably clean. We were very comfortable and relaxed our entire visit. The common areas at this property are well cared for (even in January.) This is a great location, central to a number of restaurants, grocery and drug stores. We highly recommend the condo to any and all considering a vacation to the Gulf area. The owner was most courteous and extremely helpful, giving us full details on finalizing the rental agreement. We will definitely try to schedule another week (and hopefully longer) at this condo.

We had never stayed in East Beach before, but this complex and unit were absolutely great! We enjoyed the beds; TV's in every room; kitchen and dining room were nicely appointed and the owner was really good to deal with! We only had one small repair issue, and when we called about it, it was satisfactorily done in good time. The beach repair group was a little noisy, but that is now done, and we were up far enough that it didn't affect our stay. The condition of the unit has been kept very nice. We hope to return.

This condo is everything it is advertised to be. Beautifully decorated, clean and well kept. Everything was very new and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this property!

When you book something through the internet, you are never exactly sure what you might get. We were super pleased with the condo that we rented for the week.It lived up to the pictures online. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and very homey. We enjoyed cooking in a great kitchen, the couch out front was so comfortable and all the beds slept well. The view from the balcony was perfect and we enjoyed sitting out there. The owner of this property was wonderful to work with and recommended some great places to try. We enjoyed a deep sea fishing trip with Troy Frady of Distraction Charters! We also enjoyed some great seafood from near by restaurants. I would recommend friends and family to stay in this condo. We will be back!

Beautiful condo...Great Location

Took my daughter on a girl's weekend getaway while my husband and son went to a football game. We had a wonderful time. The location of this complex is perfect! We opted to drive but could have walked to countless restaurants and plenty of shopping. We were right on the beach and liked this unit because it had a view of beach and pools. The unit itself was gorgeous! Very simple and clean with an upscale feel. The owner was very helpful. Suggested several restaurants his family likes and things to do. Desoto's Restaurant was close by and was my personal fav. My daughter liked the Buffalo Shrimp at King Neptune's Restaurant. We have stayed in plenty of condos over the years, but this one is really nice. I give it an Excellent rating for location, cleanliness, comfort, and good customer service. This condo is listed on the perfect sight. It truly felt like a home away from home!

We love Seawind 802. We've stayed in this complex many times in various units. Seawind 802 is by far our favorite. The decor is beautiful and very comfortable. It's more than nice to be able to put your feet up and relax. The view is breathtaking. Everything we want to do is at our finger tips. The kitchen is well stocked and we love the colorful dishes. Every detail is a delight. We are planning to return in the fall. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Mike and family, Your condo was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The decor was so much nicer than the other condos we have stayed in. Well equiped with everything we needed. Loved the dishes! This was our 7th year in the Gulf Shores area, we usually stay in Orange Beach. We loved being so close to the "Pink Pony Pub"! Looking forward to coming back next year and staying in your condo. My family had a great Thanksgiving weekend trip in Gulf Shores. Your Condo was delightful as promised. The accommodations were First Class. It was such a treat for our grandson to have his own space (in the bunk room) and he did utilize the DVD player. He is only 22 months old but is quickly becoming an avid Disney Movies fan. The water was cold so we just went wading, but the sand was delightful. It was a nice change from the crowded Fourth of July weekends we spend at the shore. Everyone should try an OFF SEASON get away to Gulf Shores, Alabama. It was very refreshing. Again, thanks for sharing your beach home with our family. We will have wonderful memories of our Thanksgiving at the beach. (I told Atticus, my grandson, the sand was "Southern Snow") Sincerely, Jacqueline

Great Vacation

We stayed in July and had a tremendous stay. The unit was beautiful and well decorated. The condo was clean and ready when we arrived. The kids liked the splash pool. My wife and I really liked the gulf and pool view. It is within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend this unit. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful.

First time in Gulf Shores

The condo was a nice place overall. Clean and modern. The TV's were up to date and cable has an OK selection. The internet was terrible! Dial-up was better than the broadband they had. I had to use it to keep in touch with work and ended up having to use my wireless card! The beds are soft with the exception of the master bedroom. It was a bit to firm for my taste. The kitchen was nice but there was some basic things that was missing that should have been there. (salt/pepper) I left more than what I came with for the next crew. There was an excessive amount of light blubs out and the toliet in the master bathroom was not bolted down to the floor good. We also had several difficulties with the key cards not working properly. I had to make several trips to the front office to get it corrected. Another hassle was having to lug your glass all the way downstairs to a seperate dumpster. They would not let you use the trash chute for it. Oh yea, and the elevators sucked! They take forever to get to you and most of them were full when they arrived! For a building that size they really needed two more. Overall, a nice place with a great view.

Owner response: Seawind 802 has been very popular. It has had guests steadily since March. We schedule several visits throughout the year to maintain the unit. Sometimes an issue may arise due to the volume of rentals. We appreciate any feedback that allows us to stay on top of things to make it comfortable for our guests. We have an on site company for the guest's convenience. If an issue arises, there is someone available 24 hours a day to have it corrected. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and quickly addresses any issues in the unit. High speed internet access is available. Directions for usage are clearly written out. The mattresses are identical in both bedrooms, quality Serta pillow tops. The bunkroom also has Serta mattresses. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. All consumable items like salt and pepper are thrown away by housekeeping after each guest checks out. We keep a supply of light bulbs in the laundry room for guests. These can run out. Please call housekeeping if you need a light bulb and none are available in the unit. Key cards will deactivate when placed next to a cell phone. Please be sure to keep them separate. Loose glass should not be thrown down the trash chutes. This is typical for all condos in the area. The building is equipped with the latest high speed elevators. I should have already touched base with you on our vacation, however, when I returned, it was business as usual...fast, fast, fast! Your place was beautiful! We enjoyed it so much! My brother and sister-in-law went to Orange Beach for a conference and they came over to have supper with us one night and they were really impressed with the place! Really liked the condo. The pools are awesome. Weather was a little cool, so spent a lot of time in heated pool and hot tub. Comfortable beds and very clean. GREAT location! Walked to Desoto's restaurant. Was our favorite, too. Thank you for quick response and your recommendations. Was a great family vacation.

Nice condo. Felt big. Plenty of room for our family of five. Kept our friend's kids one night and still had plenty of room to spread out without feeling cramped. Has the look of a pricey place without busting the budget. Would stay here again.

I have been meaning to write you a dozen times and get distracted. We had a perfect time in Gulf Shores at your condo. We absolutely loved it. And, no doubt about it, my favorite restaurant was Desotos as well. We visited twice. My mom loved Docs. My girls loved the beach even more than I had anticipated.... and of course the kiddy pool. Girls loved the bunk beds, too. We hope to visit again!! Thank you!! Melissa

Really enjoyed the condo. Great location! Loved the close proximity to EVERYTHING. Extremely comfortable seating in living area.Liked how this unit overlooks pools as well as gorgeous views of the beach. Unit has a clean uncluttered feel, too. Kids loved the surf room with surfboard lamp and the bunkroom was a hit as well. Husband enjoyed the large flat screen perhaps a little too much. HaHa! Wonderful vacation. We'll be back. Thanks.
