We have found all seasons are especially beautiful in the Berkshires. Here you can do as little or as much as you choose.
The house is nestled on a hill with pine trees, shrubs and grass. On the map, it can be found close to where the borders of Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut meet. The cottage is on nearly 10 acres of forest land and surrounded by many more. Furnishing have been selected carefully and you will find them both modest and comfortable. There is an early morning sun in the kitchen and the covered porch is great for breakfast dining. There is access from the porch to the sitting room, with a large wood burning fireplace. The 3 bedrooms and bath are in white, with quality cotton linen.
Depending on the season, places of interest include Jacob's Pillow, Tanglewood, Kripala Institute, the Edith Wharton House, Norman Rockwell Museum and Studio, Catamount Ski, Butternut Ski, Mount Washington and Bish Bash Falls. Some of the best restaurants in the county and the many hidden cultural, historical and shopping treasures of the nearby towns of Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Lenox, Lee and do not forget the new Warren Street in Hudson, also await you. |
