We've stayed at this lovely cabin several times, and we love it! The interior is cozy and stylish and well-decorated, with a well-appointed kitchen and comfortable beds and bedrooms. In the winter, we've enjoyed fires in the fireplace and bundled-up walks to the lake, and in the summer, we enjoy downtown Saugatuck--we love that it's so close and easy to get to. I highly recommend this cabin...although I almost don't want to share it! It's one of our very favorite places to stay.

We've stayed at this cabin several times with family and friends. Each time we've been impressed with the serene location, superb quality of service, and incredibly warmness of the house. We drive away already planning our next visit. The experience feels high end. The home itself is spotless, user friendly and inviting, the grounds and lake are beautiful in the summer and peaceful in the winter. And the location to Saugatuck, Holland, South Haven and even Grand Rapids is perfect. I'm confident others will enjoy staying here as much as we have.

For the past five years I have stayed numerous times at this cabin. Whether it was just me and my family, or taking my staff here for a retreat, or our small group coming for the week this cabin is so restful. The accommodations are incredible, I love the fireplace and how clean and new everything is. Downtown saugatuck is so close and just a great little place to walk around looking at the shops and boats. If you need a getaway this is the place.

This place is out of a story book. I would classify this as rugged elegance. It was everything I was looking for in a Log cabin in the Woods retreat. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully appointed. Everything was very clean and well-stocked. It was close to everything we wanted to do in Saugatuck and yet far enough away to feel like we were in our own world of seclusion and retreat. This is an idyllic setting to relax and explore Saugatuck, the perfect Michigan Beach town to get lost in.

Nice property but not private. Dock showing in picture is used by the community, not for private use. Kayaks had to be dragged back to cottage when not using. The beach to the left of the dock is only about 15 feet wide. People walking past the house, through the yard, to get to the dock. Sagatuck is charming but not bike friendly(found no place to leave bikes while shopping), and biking to a lake Michigan beach not likely. Can only park 2 cars at residence, with any extra being asked to park in a lot 1 mile away. The cleaning crew said we left soap residue on the walls of the shower, crumbs in the furniture, dirt on the floors, and trash in the recepticles, and towels that had to be spotted. We were docked 75.00 from the deposit. Question the accuracy of the allegations. I took no pictures when leaving, so have no defense. If you do rent, would suggest having property manager check out the place before you leave. Kitchen not that well stocked with dishes and pans, but many spices and paper products were available. Any conversation can be heard throughout the house. Amazed that the logs do not muffle the sound. We had a baby with us, and it was a pain to have to whisper as not to wake her upstairs. Will not be returning (probably would not be allowed to after this report) but do think it is not a bad place to stay. The furnishings were nice. The washer-dryer is in the basement which would be very nice if it was finished for a game room. Sleeps 8 but only 6 chairs at the dining room table, and only 2 chairs and 1 three cushion sofa in the living area (5 people comfortably). The property manager was very nice and responded when there was a need. Very cute, but lives small.

Excellent place and location. Just minutes away from great restaurants and a variety of different shops. We really enjoyed the screened-in porch and view of the lake, especially in the evening. The cabin is very clean and well-equipped with everything you need. You will feel "right at home" as it has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We definitely will be back!
