This 1920's vintage Plum Island cottage - known as the "Arctic Cottage" is one of the oldest cottages on Plum Island. Originally built as a seasonal cottage, many of it's architectural features were designed to take advantage of it's seaside location. The distinctive wrap around porch that provides shade and shelter after a long day out on the beach...the "pocket" windows that mysteriously disappear into the walls to take advantage of the summertime breeze.
