Thank you for letting s stay in your fabulous home! We were very comfortable and loved being so close to the beach and town. Ke'e, Tunnels, Salt Pond, Lydgate and of course Hanalei beaches were spectaculous! Boogie boarding, snorkeling and hanging out on the sand made our vacation lovely. My daughter is 2 and a half and had so much fun on your first real trip to Hawaii! Mahalo!

Wow! What a glorious two plus weeks we had in your beautiful home! This was my husband & I's first trip back since 2000 and it was even better than the last trip! Our kids thoroughly ejoyed their first time in hawaii and have made us promise that it won't be 10 years again unti lour next trip. Though we live at the beach in NY this was such a nice vacation from the cold and snow! Your home is also so wonderful..comfortable, inviting, warm & beautiful. Thank you, thank you for sharing it! it was a magical trip! Aloha!

Mahalo for once again allowing us to stay in your beautiful Hanalei home. We absolutely LOVE it here! We had perfect weather this time - great for hiking, surfing, boogie boarding, helicopter touring and of course eating! The food here tastes so good...may have something to do with the incredible surroundings. We fully enjoyed Tahiti Nui once again and hope to be back again next year. My mother, Wendy joined us this year and she was awestruck! Until next time - Aloha!

I hesitate to be honest about how spectacular this house is because, frankly, I want it all to myself. The more the word gets out, I’m sure, the more difficult it will be for me to make my annual visit there. Holly has created a homey, comfortable, yet luxurious getaway that has just the right mix of island flavor and modern flair. Signed, Hesitant. (Jim L.)

This has been our first visit to Hanalei for an extended stay and it has surpassed our expectations. What a beautiful spot! We really enjoyed staying at your home. It had everything we needed and more and the location is fantastic - simple plesures - sand, surf, good food and friends made this a great holiday! We'll Be Back!

On our first visit to Kauai our family learned the joy of surfing! I don't think we could fit anymore activities into our trip! We are in love with Hanalei. The house, Hale Yangkey, is beautiful! We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and town.

Mahalo from our family! We had the best time ever! Of course we are first time visitors to kauai. Mahalo for opening your home to us. Tommy says everything is better in Kauai from the folks to the sleep. We need to get a bed like the one you have! I felt right at home cooking in such a wonderful kitchen! Aloha & Mahalo!

Our family of three generations equally enjoyed Hale Yangkey. The house is beautiful and tasteful. We loved the location and enjoyed everything from gecko - catching to reading on the deck. Many thanks and Aloha!

Our third trip to Hanalei and it was relaxing as ever! The great thing about staying at the house is family dinners on the deck and the no rush to go anywhere. Coffee at Java Kai's is awesome but watch out! You will soon be a regular for the espresso drinks. We followed recommendations for places to eat etc in Holly's house book without disappointment. Great time!

Hi Holly, Just wanted to let you know how much we loved the house this last fall and let you know we are looking forward to coming again this year for the same time frame (10-14 days). Not only is Hanalei the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway, but Hale Yangkey is the perfect spot to stay. The spacious floorplan of the house allows for privacy and the updated amenities allow for luxurious relaxation. We loved being able to walk across the street to the beach and a quick stroll down the street to all the restaurants and shops. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfectly relaxing getaway!

We spent 10 glorious days here in your beautiful home of melody. We made wonderful memories that I'll cherish forever. The rain made us explore almost every beach in serch of sun...and we did it! Despite the rain we caught sun and surf every day! We took the HoloHolo charter to the amazing NaPali coast where we loved the swells and cruised with a pod of dolphins, complete with an incredible rainbow over Bali Hai! Thank you for thinking of everything as this house is very well equipt and so beautifully decorated. I look forward to a return visit - hopefully next year!

Staying at the Hale Yangkey was great! We were there last September (2007) and it couldn't have been more enjoyable. As a Realtor in California it is kind of ironic that I would say the best thing about that house was the location. We were just steps to the beach as well as the steps to all the amenities of Hanalei town. Being able to stroll over to the sushi bar and walking over to the Hanalei pier for the sunset really is PRICELESS!! As far as the house goes it was amazing. My wife and I took one of her friends and her two kids. I felt the layout of the house was perfect. The kids could go to bed and I didn't feel like we had to be quiet. Then having two master suites really was nice. We stayed in the Master with the bath tub and the mountain behind the town had got a great deal of rain so you could literally see waterfalls while taking a bath. The Lanai was great too. We went to the Dolphin Fish Market and and got some Opah (moon or sun fish...I can't remember) and had a dinner out there and it was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you needed to whip up a meal. There were umbrellas, beach chairs, and surf boards at the property that we felt came in handy. My last trip to Hanalei we actually bought chairs for the beach so having them there for us to use I felt was very nice! Having Holly as the property manager was 1st class all the way. I've stayed at four different houses in Hanalei (all with different managers) and I don't want to give up any surprises but upon arrival at the Hale Yangkey I was blown away. Everything was as Holly said it would be. I never met her personally but every question we had was answered promptly and her attention to the detail was great. When you stay at the Hale Yangkey you really don't feel like you are just renting a house. you feel like you are renting a home. If you have anybody thinking about staying there feel free to give them my name and number or email address as a third party non-biased opinion.
