GREETINGS!
We are located right on the water next to downtown Seattle....the beautiful Magnolia neighborhood. We are a couple blocks from Discovery Park, the largest in King County.
Our waterfront location is on a dead end street so it's private and quiet with no car traffic...you'll feel like you're in the San Juan islands...yet you can get downtown in a matter of minutes. This is the best way to experience Seattle...in town but you don't feel like it.
WE HAVE A BEACH BUNGALOW AND A WATERFRONT DUPLEX FOR RENT
***********************************************************
BEACH BUNGALOW...................This little gem was built right on the beach in 1918 and we have maintained its old world charm. 1 BR & 1 BTH w/shower, stone 'candle burning only' fireplace, beamed ceilings, beautiful wood floors and a spacious deck overlooking all of Puget Sound. It also has quality kitchen appliances and a big stainless steel gas grill on the deck. Cable TV, DVR, Payperview movies, DVD player and wireless internet are also available. Ocean wave sounds surround you day and night.....truely a one-of-a-kind property for a very special stay while in Seattle.
REGARDING BEACH BUNGALOW; you must be willing and able to navigate a few stairs....it's well worth the little extra effort if you choose to rent.
***********************************
WATERFRONT DUPLEX..............We have an Upper Level Unit and Garden Level Unit in one structure. Both Units have their own seperate entrances and outdoor patio or deck.
The Garden Level Unit enjoys a big kitchen/living room area, 1 BR & 3/4 BTH. It has its own patio with gas grill. The space is charming and simple. The decor is neutral and beachy with an updated kitchen and bath too. The floor above is professionally soundproofed and there is a double hung ceiling to minimize sound transfer between units. The furnishings are comfortable and the views are unobstructed and spectacular!!
The Upper Level Unit is also a 1BR & 3/4 BTH and has beautiful wood floors with area rugs, high ceiling, fireplace, private deck off kitchen with gas grill and this unit has the same spectacular and unobstructed views.
***********************************
All units face southwest and ALL units have big banks of windows that enjoy sunrises on Mt. Rainier, sunsets on the Olympic mtns and low tide beach walks right out your front door.
***********************************
IMPORTANT NOTE
We offer a relaxing place to escape the city and stay in a quiet waterfront location. It is a great place for reading, writing, painting, cooking good meals, beach walking or just relaxing after a big day of sightseeing around town. It is not a place to plan a party or group gathering which is not allowed. It is also not conducive to children or pets either because of the dangers of the stairs and high decks on the property. Thank you for your consideration.
Thanks for checking us out! Call or reply if you have questions.
Sincerely,
Jeff
PS WE ALSO HAVE ENJOYED TRADE WITH FOLKS WHO HAVE SPECIAL PROPERTIES IN THIS COUNTRY AND INTERNATIONALLY. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO TALK TO US IF YOU HAVE TRADE YOU WANT TO DISCUSS.

We stayed in the garden level unit and was extremely excited to stay here. The property looks exactly as pictured and was very clean! Everything we needed to cook, eat, drink and clean with was available to us. The view is amazing and when the clouds are not low you can see the mountains all around you. It only took us a few minutes to get downtown from the property, once we figured out the best way. = ) Jeff was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of, as well as talk to. He gave us great suggestions of sites to see, including the Ballard Locks, which was awesome! I love this property and cant wait to come back, and hopefully the Beach Bungalow will be available for us next time, though I'd gladly stay in any of the available accommodations. Thank you Jeff and Alicia for a wonderful stay in Seattle (this makes me want to move here!)Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Sitting on the deck with my morning coffee, looking out at Puget Sound, Mt Ranier and the Olympics. Quiet waves lapping at the shore 20 feet from my deck chair. This cottage is beautifully appointed, immaculate, has all the comforts of home, with simplicity added. Our host is delightful and helpful. Location great for access to Seattle proper, close, fine food shopping, butcher, ect. If I did not live in my wonderful spot in Vermont, I'd like to live here. Enjoy this lovely, cozy spot. Perfect for two, plus room to have friends over for a drink on the deck.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

My husband and I arrived just in time for the rainiest week of the spring so far. This place was so wonderful we didn't even mind. It is small, but very clean and perfectly laid out with more storage than you would believe. If you love the water, watching wildlife and ships, cooking and dining on fabulous food, this is the place. We had no problem cooking dinner and entertaining nine people. The deck is huge which doubles the entertaining space, but, of course it was raining when we had our party and we still had enough room. The owners, Jeff and Alicia could not be more accommodating. They are a great source of information about Seattle and the neighborhood attractions. If you are new to Seattle, you know that there are way too many of those to list here. The steps down to the cottage could be a consideration for some. Our experience was fine. They are well lit with automatic lighting and railings. Just take them in your own time. Everything was at least as advertised, and for us a lot more. I would make one recommendation to guests, and that is to download an app called "Ship Finder" for your IPad or phone. That way you can have your coffee on the deck (or in bed) in the morning and identify all the ships passing by in front of you. We will be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This is the loveliest of the loveliest of spots...we were close to all the downtown activities (3-5 miles) but had a gorgeous water view. This is one of the few experiences that the place was even nicer than described in the write up. It was perfectly appointed and really lovely in atmosphere and comfort. The bed was really yummy...we actually slept well every night. Jeff was very accommodating while being extremely respectful of our privacy. Next time we would stay at the beach house because of the beautiful deck there but Jeff let us use the deck when it was available and had made a number of lovely outside places for us to hang on the many beautiful sunny days in a row we had in Seattle!! We were walking distance to beautiful Discovery Park but you would need a car for any other destination.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

This bungalow is just what we needed for a few days getaway. The most amazing view I've ever had. Place is picture perfect as shown in the pictures. Close to the city if that is what you want, but you will not want to leave this place one you see it! Loved hiking in Discovery Park and walking down Magnolia Blvd. So private too....the deck is all yours. Hope we get to come back here again, not for the city, but for the Bungalow!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

'Seeking a much needed break together, we found the Beach house to be private yet just a short drive to conveniences. Although our arrival was quite late, welcoming lights and music greeted us; coffee and goodies for breakfast were thoughtfully provided. Everything was as described; clean, well thought out and convenient. Waking to the sounds of waves, watching the sun set over the mountains and just watching the boats glide by made our few days seem like a full vacation. Jeff and Alicia were excellent hosts; stocking the beach house with everything needed for a carefree stay. We look forward to returning.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

We stayed in the garden level unit, and this was a great place to rent - exactly as depicted in the photos/listing, very clean and comfortable. The location is super! You have a great view of the water/mountains/ship channel from all parts of the unit. The area is very residential and quiet but we were just 15 minutes from downtown, Space Needle, Pike Place Market and in the other direction just 15 minutes from the Ballard area with great restaurants, the Government Locks and Garden. The owner was very nice, helpful and had great recommendations for places to see and eat (don't miss Palisade at the Elliott Bay Marina - fabulous!) and was easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

i was totally pleased with this wonderful right-on-the-water beach house. the photographs do not do it justice...it's so much more amazing than any picture can portray. the view from the deck (mount rainier included), the comfortable sofa, the soft, perfect-linens bed are as good as any 5 star hotel...maybe better. from the ease of my chair, hammock, bed or couch, i could watch paddleboarders, kayaks, coast guard cutters, ferries, freighters, cruise ships, trawlers, sailboats, yachts and pleasure boats stream by. the house is perfect for one or two people, and decorated with a lovely tastefulness...not too much stuff, and not too little: lots of white fabric, tiny seashells tucked here and there, complete kitchen, lots of wood, wonderful big windows and doors. the owner is bend-over-backwards helpful...before, during and after my stay. he gave complete and accurate information up front, provided me with how-to-get-there personalized information on my arrival, and over-the-top assistance when i needed it during and after my stay. i can't say enough wonderful things about this sweet getaway spot and its owners.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

About the owner: My wife and I purchased the property in 2000. In fact, we fell in love with the property years earlier when we were renting it....and we bought it from our Landlord. We are fortunate the property attracts quality renters who are looking for a special location for their stay in Seattle. The property delivers on that expectation which makes our job easy. We live in the Upper Unit when we are not traveling and have a local caretaker when we are. Thank you so much for your consideration.
