Enjoy seasonal Menemsha Harbor and Gayhead views from the deck and Master bedroom suite. Dine on the flagstone patio overlooking the garden, lawn and woods, or in the great room at a table that seats 12 with its original fireplace and high antique beamed ceiling.
Specially designed to afford privacy while accommodating an extended family, the bedrooms are located in three different areas of the house. The Original Wing houses the two original bedrooms of "Dunrovin" Cottage built in the 1930s, with two bathrooms and an outdoor shower.
Downstairs in the New Wing are two large bedrooms with connecting bath, and direct access to another outdoor shower and the shaded double hammock. Enjoy privacy and views from the Master bedroom suite located on the upper floor of the "New Wing". This antique furnished room with French doors opening onto the deck connects to the master bath, with shower, bidet, and a soaking tub with a glorious sunset view.
The large, light-filled living room also opens out to the deck. It has two seating areas, a game table, high ceilings and large antique mantle around the fireplace. The bright oversized kitchen with windows on three sides can accommodate a family of helpers, or one can keep an eye on the action on the far end of this great space as guests pile onto the couches to watch a favorite film.
