The Mahana Condo was exactly as described and more. It was so easy to access the condo and the help and directions that Bill and Dondi provided were excellent. The condo was beautiful, clean and provided everything you needed. There were all sorts of grocery stores and shopping in the area. The pool was wonderful and everyone was very friendly. We had a fabulous trip and would definitely go back to this condo. Thank you.

Aloha! This was our first time staying at Mahana 604, and can't wait to come back!! It had everything you would need, right down to the cooler for a packed lunch on the beach. Everything was clean and the decor was pretty. The view, as soon as you walk in, is breathtaking--picture perfect! Eating breakfast out on the lanai was so relaxing, seeing the turtles and whale tales & fins slapping the water was so awesome! The location of the Mahana is great, walking distance to grocery store & small shops, close to everything by car. Bill & Dondi's directions & suggestions for activities & restaurants were helpful. We booked the Quicksilver boat & had a wonderful day snorkeling at Molokini & Turtle Cove. We took in the 'Ulalena show...very beautiful. I would also recommend taking a guided tour to Hana. I have been on the road to Hana before, driving ourselves, and this was MUCH better having someone else drive, you are able to relax & take in all of the magnificent scenery. Just a short drive up the road is Napili Bay, where we packed our lunch & snorkeled all day. Perfect little beach if you have children too. We will be recommending your place to everyone we know!! This was a repeat stay for us at this Condo and we are never disappointed. The accomodations are comfortable and the view is never disappointing. The area is quiet and thus very relaxing. Bill and Dondi's listings of restaurants and activities is extremely helpful. We definitely ask for use of this condo again.

Thank you so much Bill and Dondi for letting me stay at your most beautiful, and comfortable oceanfront condo a couple of weeks ago. I'm just now writing because I'm still reeling from the trip! Wow when I first walked in the clean ,comfortable,spacious luxury,the picture windows that magnified the glorious view and the sight of the large deck all hit me at once.My first thought was that I could just stay here the whole vacation and be happy! Of course,I saw lots of Maui daily but to be able to come back and cook and eat on the wonderful lanai was awesome. Yes I went to Maui by myself but I was never alone with the wonderful staff members who always were welcoming to see my return and ask how my day and night were.The friends that I made at Mahana were in such a great frame of mind that again many friends were made. And the ever friendly people of Maui made it seem that I was at home with the good folks of Tennessee. Dukes was a great spot to eat good and drink with friends. Polly's in Paia was really good authentic Mexican food. I enjoy cooking so I didn't eat out too many times but all the places where I ate were very good. Lahaina,Hana,Paia,Haleakala Crater,Twin Falls,the abundance of trails to walk on the fun road to Hana,the trails in the upper country,the multiple beautiful beaches were all memorable adventures. I look forward to returning to Mahana 604 and next time bringing my family! Aloha and majalo again Bill and Dondi

I can't put into words how much we LOVED the condo! Everything was perfect, the view was to die for, it had all the creature comforts a person could ask for - dishwasher, shower/tub, ensuite laundry, lanai off living room and bedroom, floor to ceiling windows, air conditioning, king size comfy bed, linens, beach towels, fully equiped kitchen (blender, coffee maker, full size fridge and stove, microwave), flat screen TV, free parking, accessibility to shops, and a gorgeous pool area with spa. The snorkeling off the beach was fantastic, we both were amazed at the beauty. In fact, my husband has scuba dived in Mexico, Cuba and now Hawaii and commented that he saw more snorkeling south of the condo (100 yards down the beach) than any of his "official" dives! We went on a helicopter ride, a sunset catamaran ride, a snorkeling adventure to Molikini Crater and Turtle Town, and the Old Lahaina Luau. It was AWESOME!!!! Bill and Dondi are execptional hosts - and put a tremendous amount of thought into the comfort of their guests. The provide snorkeling gear, beach chairs, picnic coolers, boogie boards...pretty much everything you could ask for. My husband had to pry my fingers from the lanai to get me to leave! We are planning on returning in three-years time with my brother-in-law and his wife - and we will be booking the two-bedroom unit for the stay! How far in advance do you accept reservations????? We had a fantastic vacation, and I'm completely hooked on Maui. Bill & Dondi....Thank you for making our 10th anniversary so memorable! Until next time......

Beautiful Direct, Oceanfront 1BR Condo

We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo with a queen sofa sleeper and it was perfect. Our party including myself and my husband, my 14 year old daughter, and 12 year old daughter. The property exceeded all of our expectations. The condo was clean and the views were spectacular, clearly the best place on the beach. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. The ceiling to floor windows in the entire condo was fabulous. We spent much time on the lanai eating our meals, reading, watching whales, and watching people. We were near lots of amenities. The facility was top notch. The pool wasn't fancy, but it was perfect where you could access the beach and view the sunsets.. We took advantage of the outdoor grills and met many wonderful people from many places. We walked every morning on the board walk and hopped on the beach to enjoy snorkeling. I would return in a heart beat and rent this unit again. I will recommend this to our friends and family traveling to Hawaii. My family was so pleased and couldn't believe how perfect the facility was. It was nice not having a restaurant/bar in the facility as we could easily walk to Duke's or over to the other hotel for a drink/dinner. The hospitality of owners was perfect from the directions to get there, restaurant recommendations, and traveling tips. A trip of a lifetime!

Bill and Dondi's condo is very nice. Newly renovated and well located on the Kaanapali beach. We've been here twice and every time wish we had more time to stay. Even got to see a double rainbow out on the lanai. Bill was very accomodating on the rental and made every effort to make our stay there wonderful. It was. You'll love it!!! Pull the trigger. You can't go wrong with this condo!!!

Experience of a Lifetime

Bill and Dondi, thank you so much for sharing your condo with us last week. Abbie and I had an awesome time which will be filled with a lifetime of memories. We couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. It met all of our needs. Clean, plenty of room, everything we needed in the kitchen, washer/dryer, and most importantly a great view of the ocean, sunsets, Linai and Molokai. Even got some great photos of whales and a sea turtle from the Lanai. We did a lot of walking on the beach walk and didn't see a property as close to the ocean as yours. While there are some close by properties which may be bigger, more extravegant, with more property ammenities, you'd also pay 3-4 times more per night. I think your place is very reasonably priced, is in a great location, and I would recommend it to anyone. The only negative I can think of is that the internet wifi connection was a challenge. To get connected you practically have to be right up next to the ocean side window. This is not a showstopper at all though. Abbie and I plan to return to Maui and would no doubt stay at your property again. Again, thank you for the opportunity to spend the week in your condo. Aloha! Reid and Abbie.

Best View On Maui

Everything was as wonderful as described appearance and amenities. The condo was very clean and well looked after. We treated it as though it was our home. There was everything we needed to make our stay very rewarding. We cooked all of our meals there and ate out on the lanai for all of our meals. There were many good restaurants nearby when one wanted to eat out. Our favorite was eating on the lanai. The little coffee bar in the lobby was wonderful and offered a variety of beverages and food. The activities we would recommend would be whale watching tour and just get in your vehicle and drive there as so many interesting places to stop and take pictures.

Imagine going to sleep to the sound of a breeze in the palm trees and the waves against the shore. Imagine watching from your lanai as humpback whales breach right in front of you. My wife and I turned imagination into reality when we spent two weeks this April at Bill and Dondi’s condo in Kaanapali. It was both completely relaxing and amazing. What a fantastic location! Privacy, proximity to great beaches, and the comforts of home made this one of our best holidays yet. And Bill and Dondi make things easy—from beginning to end. They are trust-worthy and delivered on everything they promised—you can’t ask for more than that (except maybe to come back again!). Food suggestions: check out the pizza at Paradiso and the ahi sandwiches at the Fish Market. Oh, and the Castaway Café was terrific—for both food and whale watching—right on the beach.

We stayed in #604 for a week at the beginning of November. The condo was a dream come true. Beautifully located, and marvelously equipped. It had everything one could possibly want. We had a wonderful relaxing time in your beautiful and very well equipt condo. The floor to ceiling windows looking out to the ocean through the palm trees, and of course the lanai, created a perfect place for us to just enjoy paradise. We were so close to the ocean sometimes it felt like we were sleeping on the beach. We loved the fact that we didn't have to worry about a key. Using the combination lock was so convenient. The kitchen was perfect for creating breakfasts and lunches for two. Everything was there that we needed. We did a lot of snorkeling just north of the Mahana near the beach park. Thanks for the use of the beach chairs. The restaurant recommendations were very informative. We enjoyed the Sea House for their lobster special and Cool Cats for a fantastic hamburger. The nearby deli and Fish Market were wonderful for take out. We had a perfectly wonderful week and hope to return to this condo some time in the future. Mahalo

Bill and Dondi: This was our 5th time staying at the Mahana and the 2nd in #604. The oceanfront location of the Mahana is ideal and your unit met or exceeded all of our needs once again. Visiting in September is perfect- no crowds and the ocean temperature is maxed out for two thermal wimps from AZ. We made good use of several of the unit's amenities like the picnic coolers and camp chairs for the beach. Altogether a fabulous week and we look forward to coming back to #604 in the near future. We really enjoyed the Mahana and staying in your condo this past week. What a great location and only 30-40 feet from the property to the water line. Great snorkeling and so many things to do on Maui. We ran out of time but managed to get most of the activities in that we wanted to do for the week. I've stayed at the Whaler before and the Mahana is less crowded and better situated than the larger Whaler complex. We would love to return to your place on future visits.

It had all of the amenities we needed to make our stay pleasurable & worry free. The added items such as the boogie board, the umbrella & the chairs were nice too. Those are items that you would like to have but don't want to spend the money on...we certainly were not going to pay to check items like that on the plane! Our favorite things about the condo were the view & the lanai...to be able to sit out there & see the whales was wonderful. Being that close to them, in their natural habitat was really amazing. This was our 5th trip to Maui and our second at The Mahana - there simply is no better place to stay when visiting Maui! We love the ocean front view from every condo, especially #604. We will back in 2 years and will be staying in 604. What a great place!!

Hi Bill and Dondi, Again we had a wonderful one month long vacation and enjoyed our stay in your condo. Sorry we did not comment last year after our month long stay...we are making up for that now. You do provide for everything in the unit and we fully relaxed there. We had company with us for 4 days and they want to return here when they come back to Maui. We had a great honeymoon in Mahana 604 - it was peaceful, and it had a spectacular view! My wife and I had a great time staying there, and we especially enjoyed the coffee that was provided :)

We had a WONDERFUL time! The condo was incredible. We were so impressed by all the personal touches. It had everything we needed and more. My boys really enjoyed the boogie boards that had been left there. The vacation was heaven. We loved the beach just to the south of the condo -- spent alot of time snorkeling there. I really hope we'll be able to come back again. I will spread the word to anyone I know traveling to Maui that this is the perfect place to stay.

What a beautiful place!!!! This was our first time to Hawaii and staying at Mahana 604 helped make the trip a fabulous one. You walk in and the view is breath taking! Our family of ten (six adults and four children) occupied units 604 and 1109 and had a great time. The units were well suppied, well kept and in great condition. We had plenty of room, even when we all gathered in 1108 for dinner and activties. Our stay on Maui was super dispite the excessive trade winds and a brush fire the closed the main road for a night and part of a day. We are happy to recommend your units to anyone we know coming to Maui. Don Stevenson

We loved staying at the Mahana 604, June 12-21, 2007! The condo is very clean, comfortable, and in a great location for shopping, dining and walking the beach. The view is spectacular and we especially enjoyed sitting out on the lanai. It was wonderful to be so close to the ocean. We really appreciate the way Bill and Dondi were so helpful in setting us up to stay in their condo providing all the information we needed including directions from the airport and a restaurant guide.

Our stay at 604 Mahana was absolutely glorious! The view was out of this world and spending time on the porch was truly enjoyable. Everything was very comfortable, clean and inviting. Also, the location was very convenient. We spent time in Kaanapali and Lanai. There was so much to do and see. (Don't miss the whale watching tour.) We really can't say enough about how fantastic our stay was! Thanks so much for sharing your paradise.

April 25th to May 4th 2007 Our stay at Mahana 604 was a fantastic place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. From the moment we stepped into the condo we felt at home. It was so clean and the view spectacular. Everything we needed was right there, We took long walks on the beach and just 10 minutes to the left up the beach was some of the best snorkeling.The sunsets memorable. The drive to Hana a must but its takes a whole day. We ate dinner there at the condo everynight but one. Bar-b-queing by the pool was so fun. We meet alot of fun people there. The one night we did go out we went to the magic show in Lahaina, Warren and Annabelles. What a great show. We laughed so hard and will go back again on our next visit to Mahana 604. We are already planning our next trip. Bill and Dondi are such good people to work with and we appreciate them allowing us to use their home in Maui. Mahalo

Feb 8-18'07 I don't know where to start - this was a trip to paradise! We stayed in Mahana #604 for 10 days - what a way to spend our 30th anniversary! You can't beat breakfast each morning on the lanai watching whales and their calves having a ball right in front of your condo. The sunsets each night were absolutely beyond description. We did the road trip to Hana (you have to do it at least once), went whale watching through the Pacific Whale Foundation - even adopted a dolphin while there! The beaches were spotless as was the condo building. Bill and Dondi's condo was like home away from home. Comfortable with everything you needed. Their response to any questions we had were answered immediately. We look forward to a return trip to Mahana 604 in the future (sooner than later)! We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else!! Fantastic condo...Mahana unit 604 is cozy, well furnished, has fantastic views, and is reasonably priced for the lovely unit that is is.This is a deluxe ocean front unit. We watched whales from our lanai every day. The view of Molokai and Lanai is also great. It is even possible to view a monk seal that has come up to rest on the beach. This complex is within walking distance to a farmers market that is open three days a week. We highly recommend that. We will definitely be back..Best place to stay in Maui.
