From the condo's beautiful finishings, tasteful artwork and incredibly comfortable bed to the charming complex and friendly people we met, we had a really great vacation at the Desert Jewel.   • A Desert Jewel certainly describes this condo and this location. We found this to be exactly as described and pictured. We stayed two weeks and can't wait to come back. The owner is especially attentive and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed or could want. As others have mentioned - the hummingbirds are spectacular and the feeders were filled so we could enjoy them the entire two weeks we were there. Others in the community were very friendly and made us feel welcome to join any activities scheduled. We highly recommend this unit.

  • Our stay in this charming and elegantly appointed condo was a welcome respite from the cold north! The grounds are beautifully maintained with lush citrus fruit trees throughout the gated community. In addition, it is a very quiet and private end unit with a walled in patio that is frequented by hummingbirds. It is centrally located to all the many things the desert has to offer; restaurants, shops, entertainment, a library and more. We brought our bikes with us and took advantage of the many bike trails hidden throughout the established neighborhoods as well as the wide boulevards that are so often marked with bicycle lanes. We highly recommend this wonderful and intimate getaway to anyone looking to rest, rejuvenate and warm themselves in the desert sun.

  • This beautiful,classy home was filled with all the necessities and then some. We were greeted with the most tasteful decor, lovely furnishings, and all the amenities one could need.The patio created a lovely peacefullness to watch the very busy hummingbirds who were fed at every window.  First class appliances and audio/visual equipment.  Immaculate.The pool and jacuzi were relaxing after a vigorous day on the near by links. We enjoyed the Palm Springs festivities and Street Faire as well as the Living Desert-all close by.Thank you for all you did to make our stay first class in every aspect. We will definitely return.

  • We will add to the recent avalanche of complements concerning this cozy and immaculate condo and its charming owner. Although we only stayed a few days, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The upgraded decor reflects the owner's good taste, and the private, quiet patio afforded us a relaxing spot to sip our evening wine while the hummingbirds amused us. Of note, this convenient location just off Highway 111 is in the middle of the restaurants, shopping and other attractions of the Coachella Valley.

  • We loved what we saw on VRBO but one of our concerns was if we would have enough breathing room (married 42 years} for the whole month of Feb. after coming from a large home. We were very comfortable and the layout of the condo gave us "our space". In the morning we just opened the french doors and enjoyed the sun in the very private outdoor patio. We had plenty of storage to put away our oversized luggage. The residents of Desert Braemar were great and included us in on activities. The pool was warm and so inviting for swimming and the sundeck lovely for sunbathing. The citrus fruit was luscious and we could help ourselves each day. The grounds and flowers were beautiful and well kept and it was neat to drive in at night and see the lights around the palm trees. We will be back. Thank you.

  • Is there anything to add at the previous comments? What has been written in the comments and in the description of the condo is simply true! Central location: Rancho Mirage is surely a very beautiful city. Desert Braemar is a quiet, clean and very secure place. Renters can always count on Marion availability. Pour ceux qui habitent l'Est du continent intéressés à découvrir de nouveaux lieux de séjour pour des vacances hivernales, Rancho Mirage et Desert Braemar sont à considérer.
