Accommodations:  Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 6-8)

Ten beautiful acres of mountains shared by only three houses. Enjoy the privacy and beautiful mountain views, yet the convenience of being only five minutes from town/Wal-Mart.

While this is listed as a cabin, it is really 1650 square feet of spacious living. This cabin was just built in December 2006, so the condition is "new." It comes fully furnished with everything you need to stay one week, or one year. All appliances, including washer/dryer are new.

The master bedroom, dining room, laundry room, guest bathroom, and living room are all located on the first floor. On the second floor are two large bedrooms and a large guest bathroom. Outside there are large eight-foot decks around three of the four sides of the cabin, and a screen porch.

Note: To insure that all of our guests enjoy their time here, our "Cabin" is always smoke-free and pet-free. We also request a $60 non-refundable cleaning charge; so that we can ensure that our "cabin" is in tip top condition when our guests arrive. Check-in Time is 4 pm and Check-out time is 11 am (although we will work with you in special situations).

  • A King size Bed in all bedrooms, along with a treadmill and a 27 inch TV in the bedroom to enjoy while walking on the treadmill. There is a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. In the living room there is a 48 inch big screen TV feed by a Direct TV satellite, VCR/DVD player with surround sound and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, large refrigerator with Ice maker, dishwasher and a coffee maker. There are rockers to sit in and enjoy the view and piece and quiet of the mountains. There is also a gas grill to cook your steaks or hamburgers on. There is plenty of hiking on the property.

Personal Currency Assistant™

$675/weekly Apr-Oct (1 wk increments), $400/wk Nov-Mar (max 8 people in cabin).
Thanksgiving/Xmas $675/wk.Reservation Fee $200; Check or Money Order to hold date.
Reservation Fee will become your Security Deposit upon check in, and will be
refunded after damage inspection is completed (7 to 10 days after check out).
Cancellation Refunds - 100% refund of reservation fee is applicable if given at
least three (3) weeks advance notice. 50% refundable 2-3 weeks notice
(exceptions per illness or medical situations). One week or less - NO Refund
(exceptions to this will be reviewed per renter/per situation).

  • The Corkill cabin ranks up there among the Who's Who in log cabins. The cabin is not only beautiful but also comes fully loaded with all the amenities of home and much more. The cabin is located in the heart of all there is to do in Frankin and close by everything else. Can't wait to book the next trip.

  • My wife and I have been renting mountain cabins for over thirty years and this cabin surpasses them all. In many instances it felt like we were roughing it in order to get a good view or location, not so with the Corkill cabin. We never felt so immediately at home as we did on this trip. We couldn't have asked for anything nicer as this is truly a luxurious cabin. I would be proud to call it my home. I must also commend the excellent depiction on the internet for so accurately showing what a great place this is.

  • I stayed at the Corkill Cabin the week of Christmas with my daughters and two grandchildren. The cabin was perfect and they had even decorated it with lights and stockings on the mantel for the holidays. Everything that you could have wanted or needed was supplied. The location was very convenient to everything. It was a wonderful holiday and would love to stay at the cabin in the future.

  • We had a wonderful experience at the Corkill Cabin! We researched many, many, properties; and by far this cabin was superior! Everything was centered around the comfort of the quests; for which we appreciate immensely! Their are 5 Star Hotels; well our family consider this cabin to be a 5 Star Cabin. We surely plan a return visit next year!
