Spacious private condominium hotel suite on the Southern coast of Maine in Wells at VILLAGE BY THE SEA. Located between the picturesque villages of Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Kittery Maine and LL Bean outlet shopping nearby.
This is a top floor suite and well decorated with comfort and family vacationing in mind. Five rooms with over 1200 square feet of living space! The master bedroom has two pillowtop queen beds and ensuite full bath with wall hair dryer. There is a large second bedroom with a king bed, second bath, separate dining room with seating for six, full kitchen with all modern appliances, and living room with cathedral ceiling, skylight and queen sleep sofa. Perfect for the whole family. Three color cable TVs, VCR, DVD, movie library and stereo. There is also a full-size washer and dryer in the suite for your personal use. WIFI Internet access is available from our suite.
Gorgeous views directly overlooking the Wildlife Preserve and tidal waterway can be seen from the Master Bedroom, Living room and Private Deck!
Indoor pool with jacuzzi, exercize room and game room is right across the parking lot. There is also an outdoor pool in season.
Available year round. Two night minimum off-season. Weekly from Friday to Friday in season at savings from hotel rack rate.

My family (husband and 4 children (9, 13, 15, 17)) stayed here for three nights. The space was much larger than a hotel suite and a much better value. The online description and photos are 100% accurate. The bedroom with a king bed actually has a newer flat screen television. There is space between the two bedrooms so my husband and I had a good amount of privacy away from the room where the kids slept. There was a blizzard during our stay and the parking lot was kept plowed and the doorway shoveled. The beds are very comfortable and the cleanliness superb. The only negative was with the pool/hot tub. There were no towels available at the pool (supposed to bring them with you but leave them at the pool area when done.)?? We found this odd. The pool water was salty--perhaps they treat the pool less often during the slower months and the hot tub was barely warm. These issues of course are with the Village Property, not the owners of the condo. The location was fantastic and the view was beautiful. The check-in process and communications with the owners was super-easy and smooth. It would be nice to visit there again during the warmer months. The washer and dryer worked well, along with all the kitchen appliances. There is a Hannaford (grocery store) less than two miles away. We would definitely stay there again.
Owner response:As our guests found, the condo's 1250 sq.ft. is a comfortable amount of space for a family. The cathedral ceilings make it feel even more spacious. There are beach/pool towels in the condo in the laundry room. I know that the hotel manager and the head of maintenance were both on vacation at the time and perhaps the pool and hot tub did not get the usual attention that it does. The view directly overlooks the waterway of the Rachel Carson Wildlife Preserve and is tidal so it changes all the time.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The property was well-maintained and was perfectly cleaned. The owner was very helpful and quick to get back to me with any questions I had. I would highly recomend this location to anyonme who is looking for a place to relax and get away without the hassel of traveling for long hours. The hot tub and indoor pool was a great way to start off the weekend! It is also located perfectly near many restaurants and only 15 minutes away from the Kittery Outlets!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Our multi generational family has enjoyed sharing vacations together for over 15 years. This year we went North, as my sister was retiring from the military and the ceremony was at Pease AFB. This condo was the best place - by far - that we have every experienced in our vacationing together. Space enough to spread out for privacy, big enough to enjoy family meals - with a kitchen stocked with all the essentials! - and a homey feel that made us exhale immediately upon entering. The location affords itself ample opportunities for all interests - shopping, exploration, beaches, great food, biking - and there is a trolley and bikes to rent for those who want to experience an "out of car" feel. The pictures and descriptions of this place do NOT lie as many places do. It is everything described - and more. The view from the deck is breathtaking, the condo divine, and the memories made will never be forgotten. I will, and have, recommended this specific condo to family and friends. Thank you!

My family and I stayed at this property over Thanksgiving weekend. The location was convenient to shopping in Kittery and Freeport, which made it ideal. The condo itself was very clean and well maintained. The furnishings and appliances were current and the view off the back deck was very nice. We would like to make a trip back here in the warmer months so that we can take advantage of everything Wells has to offer.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.
