This amazing mountain retreat is available all year long. Spend Thanksgiving or Christmas in a winter retreat or rent it for a summer vacation you will never forget! Ashley Lake is a very private mountain lake with incredible blue color due to its clay bottom. Huge trout and salmon inhabit its deep waters. Elk, moose, wolves, and deer are all found in this area. This quiet lake is the perfect spot for a family vacation, romantic getaway, or adventurous trip to Montana.
The cabin has a large master suite with a king-sized bed with views overlooking the lake and its own full bathroom. An additional bath with a shower is located on the main floor. The entire group can eat around the large dining table. Oversized couch is perfect for afternoon naps after a long hike in the mountains. Bunk beds can be separated if being used by adults or left as is for the kids. Downstairs with its own entrance is another bedroom, with connecting full bath, full-sized bed, and washer and dryer.
Enjoy incredible sunsets off the large deck. The master bedroom has glass doors which allow you to wake up to the lake views. In the evening roast marshmallows beside a large campfire or enjoy a glass of wine on the deck listening to the loons.
Ashley lake is only 12 miles west of Kalispell. A quiet lake with very few boats on it. You feel like you have it all to yourself yet restaurants, shopping, Glacier National Park, Flathead lake, Kalispell, and many other activities are only a short drive away. If you are looking for some peace and quiet in a very scenic mountain getaway than this is the place for you.
If you love to golf then get ready! Golf Digest named the Flathead valley a top 50 golf course destination. With nine championship courses all within a 45-minute drive.
The cabin is only a 45-minute drive from Glacier International Airport and an hour from Glacier National Park, Big Mountain Ski Resort, Black Tail Ski Resort, Flathead Lake, and Big Fork. It would take an entire summer for you to experience all that the Flathead valley has to offer!
Boat rentals and jet ski rentals are available in Kalispell. There is public launch site on Ashley Lake. For more information, please call us.

This was our second use of a VRBO property and it exceeded ALL expectations! Get your groceries and head to this very peaceful, beautiful location for a perfect vacation! The cabin was clean and came with all the other necessities needed. It's a perfect location to explore Glacier National Park and Kalispell is only a short drive away. We loved the lake, fishing, wildlife and quiet (even on the weekend). Owners are very helpful and seemed accessible if needed. Can't wait to come back!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We love having renters spend special occasions such as these guys, it was their honeymoon! Congratulations. Our cabin is very peaceful. Ashley lake is not a very busy lake so you can always count on seeing lots of wildlife and good old peace and quiet. There are several pairs of Loons on the lake and this year they were successful in raising at least one chick. These large birds are pretty rare and to have several nesting pairs is truly an honor!

Truly a beautiful place and very well appointed, we were so cozy. My husband loved fishing off the pier and it was amazing to see eagles flying over the silent lake and to hear the wind in the trees. Do your grocery shopping on the way and settle in. City folks like ourselves should be aware of 1 thing, though: without a 4-wheel drive vehicle, the last 7 miles to the cabin make it challenging to get in/out of for casual trips into town or elsewhere in the area.Did you find this review helpful? In today's world it is getting harder to be able to escape to such a serene, soul filling place. It's going to be hard to go back to the city after staying here!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

One of our best family vacations in years. I've been to many Montana lakes and Ashley is the most gorgeous of them all. The lake house is amazing...very comfortable, clean and spacious with all needed amenities. The city of Kalispell is a quick 15 mile drive on well maintained roads. I highly recommend to all...we'll be back again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
