New luxury resort in La Quinta; neighbor to La Quinta Resort Hotel and Spa. Beautifully landscaped gardens, tall palm trees and fountains nestled in the Santa Rosa Mountains make this a property of distinction and a feast for the eyes.
This villa is on the second floor so it is very private with decks overlooking a courtyard and a fountain just below. Close to the newly opened saltwater pool and clubhouse. It also faces east so it is warm and sunny in the morning while mild and shady in the afternoon. Whether you are looking for some peace and quiet, seeking out natural beauty, looking for fine dining and entertainment or just wanting to escape the foul weather, stop looking; you have found your place in the sun.
Activities and Attractions:
The Coachella Valley has a myriad of activities from which to choose including golf, hiking, shopping, ballooning, theater, casinos and music. There is the Living Desert Wildlife Park, the Desert Museum, the Children's Discovery Museum, the Agua Caliente Indian Canyons Park (fabulous giant Palm Tree forest with stream running through (should not be missed!) and last, but by no means least, The great Joshua Tree National Park--it is not just a bunch of scrawny trees)--massive rock formations, abandoned mines and ranches from the turn of the century, fascinating desert flora and fauna and views of the entire Coachella Valley.

My husband & I stayed in this villa for 9 days of rest, relaxation and golf. The villa was accurately reflected in the video and in photos...just better and did not lack in amenities. The property was very well maintained, quiet and peaceful. The owner was always helpful and happy to answer any questions. We would recommend this property and look forward to our next visit! We were nearby to everything we needed...golfing, shopping, restaurants and friends. We loved it!Recommended for: Age 55+.

The Villas have every luxury you could possibly find at La Quinta resort without the price tag. The rooms at Legacy I find are not as austere. I really enjoyed staying in this unit, close enough to the pool but not right on top of it. It is part of the beginning faze so you won’t be around the construction that you may find with other units. The owners, Bob and Mary are great people and keep the place in impeccable condition.
