My husband, mother, and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in this beautiful condo at Surf and Racquet Club at Amelia Island. We chose this particular unit because of its view of the ocean as shown in the VRBO pictures we saw online, and we were not disappointed! The condo was very clean as well as beautifully and comfortably furnished. We loved the new carpet! The only problem we encountered during our stay was the installation of hurricane windows and shutters, which made it necessary for us to be out of the condo during the day while the work was being done. Two or three days before our stay, we had been advised that this was a possibility, but we chose to go ahead with our plans, and we were certainly glad we did. Because there is so much to see and do on the island, this work turned out not to be a huge inconvenience for us. On the day of our departure, none of us was ready to leave, and we will definitely plan to stay in this lovely condo again when we return to Amelia Island. Thanks, Brian, for everything you did to help make our stay an enjoyable one. Thanks also to Richard for your email welcoming us to your condo. We sincerely appreciate that kind gesture!

The condo is in great condition and there was plenty of room for all six of us. The living room is quite large, as well as the master bedroom and bathroom. Terrific beach view and very nice amenities on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here with friends and had an amazing vacation. The condo is in great shape and the views from all of the rooms were just fantastic. And it is very well supplied with everything you need. We had our anniversary dinner at Merge in Fernandina and the food was superb! We would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and look forward to staying there again!

We recently returned from an outstanding visit to Amelia Island. This condo was perfect for our family; my teenage sons LOVED having a room and bathroom to themselves (not to mention televisions in their rooms). Having coffee on the deck watching the sun rise each morning was magic. The weather was wonderful the entire time and we were able to enjoy outdoor dining at most of the area restaurants. The boys enjoyed the shops at Fernandina Beach; especially the Fudge Shop for ice cream! Our favorite was Brett's Waterside Cafe where we could watch all of the boats and amazing sunsets on the island. Perfect!

The condo is as nice as described. The view is beautiful. The beach clean and not crowded. My 13 year old daughter and her friend loved the waves, pool, and smoothies at the Ritz. The condo has a beautiful layout and the kitchen was well equiped. The owner does a wonderful job of welcoming guests with a nice note and bottle of wine. Our family had a great time and we will definitely be back.

We have stayed at many beaches in Florida and this was our favorite. The views of the beach are tremendous. The property is in good shape including the 4 clay tennis courts. The tennis pro was a pleasure to deal with. The owner and his representative are friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to staying at this property again.

I stayed at this condo in August 2010 and was very satisfied. The location was great and view was incredible. We were on the 6th floor and the ocean and beach and sky had fantastic views. Amazingly, it was very quiet. In fact after one night my wife decided to keep the sliding door facing the ocean open so we could hear the waves, but the volume was about perfect. Not too loud, not too soft. Also, we heard zero noise from others in the condo building. The building itself is starting to show its age (built in late 1980s) but the condo was updated with very nice decor. There were two small problems, one with a clogged drain and a shower that did not get hot, but the next day the property manager, Brian Sully, arrived with the plumber and stayed the entire time to be sure it was fixed right. We had a real nice discussion about lots of things. I can say Brian was more attentive to all the issues related to renting, arriving, getting us the keys and explaining everything, than any other property person we have ever dealt with. He is genuinely a nice person and very caring. If anything is not as it should be while you are staying, he will not rest till you are satisfied. All that said, the place was lacking dish detergent and umbrellas at the pool and the wireless internet connected but did not work. I had to hard wire my computer to the cable modem and it worked fine. The location is only about 200 yards from the Ritz Carlton, so you can walk up the beach and enjoy their amenities like the beach bar, all the restaurants, the beautiful lobby, sports bar with pool tables. Word of warning for those looking for Margaritaville. This ain't it. The little town of Fernandina Beach has restaurants and some things to do, but Amelia island is meant for quiet family vacations. We went to St. Augustine one day (about 1 hour and bit away) and had a great time there as well, Also, the owner, Mr. Cullen, left us a great bottle of wine and a gift card to the Ritz, nice touch! I would stay here again for sure but I am going to see more of Florida, but someday I will be back.

I can't begin to describe how wonderful this condo is. From the amazing views to the amenities, everything was absolutely perfect. We slept with the sliders open in the master bedroom so we could listen to the waves every night. This is a place we will return to again and again.

The condo is more than you could ask for. There is so much to say that it is hard to know where to begin. The views - 6th floor corner unit of a 7 story complex with unbelievable views of the beach and ocean. Large balcony off the master bedroom (we slept with the sliders open every night to hear the ocean) with a table that seats 6. Clean - I am a freak when it comes to bathrooms not being cleaned properly and this place exceeded my expectations. All three bathrooms are well appointed and CLEAN! There is literally nothing that you need that is not provided: free wifi which came in handy when we were trying to figure out where to eat. Large flat screen tv with cable, vcr/dvd; even a printer if you needed one. We were blown away by the little extras - an over abundance of large fluffy towels, beach chairs. Richard, the owner, called to check on us to make sure all was well (it was). He could not have been more helpful or friendly. He even had a welcome note and a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us! I don't think the pictures accurately portray this condo. It is so much more than what you see. I highly recommend this place to anyone. We can't wait for our next visit. Thank you, Richard, for sharing your piece of paradise with u s.

My husband and I slipped away to Amelia over Christmas last year and we were very happy when we unlocked the door to this condo. The views will knock your socks off! I made French Toast Christmas morn in the cute kitchen and then we opened our gifts in the living room with a view of the ocean. It felt like home away from home. Simply beautiful. And the owner's assistant, Melissa is a renter's dream. Sweet and efficient. Recommend highly!

We stayed at this condo over Thanksgiving holiday, 2009, and were delighted with the location (right on the beach) and the views (spectacular). Having three bedrooms in such a good location at such a reasonable price was just what we needed! We would certainly consider renting this condo again.

This vacation is a perfect place to just sit back and relax. My wife and I just loved it. You could hear the sound of the ocean inside the condo and it was just hypnotic. The pictures on the site does not do the condo justice on how spectacular the view from the balcony really is. Playing in the ocean with the constant waves was just so much fun. Overall our experience at Amelia Island was amazing and we will be going back in the future when work lets us.

We had a great stay at your condo the last week of July. It was hot but the breeze on the beach was perfect and the waves were perfect. We really loved the condo - we have stayed in many units in this complex and this is our favorite. It is great to have 3 bedrooms, and the views really are amazing. Thanks for all you do to make it easy to rent and to keep the renters happyl.

Richard, Your condo at Amelia Surf and Racquet C-132 is outstanding. The views are absolutely breathtaking! We stayed here last year and liked it so much we decided to return again this year. I would highly reccomend this unit. Very spacious, clean - and did I mention the breathtaking views - WOW! My family really enjoyed our stay and we will be back again. Also the wireless internet is fantastic! My wife and I have to check up on our work with our laptops - even though we are on vacation. Wireless provides a great resource in this condo. Again, fabulous views of Amelia Islaand while sitting in the living room. Thanks, Keith and Becky Watson Valdosta, GA

I thought I'd just list all the reasons why staying at your condo helped make our vacation great. 1. Two rooms with king beds and a third room with 2 twins.. perfect for a set of parents, grandparents and a couple of kids. 2. Storage.. there are shelves, closets, hooks, drawers everywhere so we never felt like we were living out of a suitcase. 3. The views... both up and down the beach were spectacular. We loved the table by the windows for our games of spades. 4. Location... perfect to get to anything and everything and situated on a quiet stretch of beach. 5. Details.. the attention to them by you and your property manager. Overall, fabulous experience. THANKS!!

We stayed at the condo for our teenage daughter's spring break in mid-March. I was afraid she and her friend would be bored, but they had a great time. They loved being so close to the Ritz-Carlton and making new friends there. The condo was lovely with such a fabulous view. It's a perfect location. We all agreed in was a fun, restful vacation.

Richard, This was our 10 year anniversary reunion at our little piece of heaven - Amelia Island. Nine of those years have been in your lovely condo, so we feel right at home there. The beach view is spectacular, and the condo just perfect for us. We hope to continue making happy memories there for many more years to come. The Mystic 5 YaYa's - Sandy and Anne - Tallahassee, Kathy - Pensacola, JoAnn - Winter Garden, Judy - Plant City ps. the shopkeepers were pleased to know that the cold weather this year didn't stop us from our "retail therapy". We never tire of their warmth and friendliness.

We loved being in the condo over the Easter weekend. The views take your breath away--especially after leaving a snowbound New England. Our family reunion was so enhanced by this wonderful space. The radiant full moon reflected in the ocean is a picture I'll never forget. The beach was fantastic. Great tennis courts. We found lots to do in town as well--especially loved the sailing. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at the Amelia Surf and Racquet Club was fabulous. The accommodations were great. The beach and ocean views were fantastic. We could watch the dolphins swim by each day right from the condo or the beach. The beach was only a few steps away and the waves were perfect. Our condo owner provided beach towels, bogie boards, chairs and sand buckets. (Next time we know not to pack ours) This was our second time staying at the Surf & Racquet Club and I know it will not be our last.

Spectacular view is an understatement!! This fabulous beachfront property affords the most incredible vistas all the way up and down the beach. We really appreciated the view on the 4th with fireworks all around. Our family loved the quick access to the pool, beach and tennis court. The wireless internet helped keep the teenagers satisfied, and with 4 TV's everyone was able to watch their favorite show. The best show by far was the sunrise! I can say we have never had such glorious accommodations in all our travels and will look forward to staying at this condo in the future.

We had a great time in May/June 2007 at this very comfortable 3B/3B condo right on the beach. The view was gorgeous - it is a corner unit on the 6th floor. We could see the beach to the north and south. We enjoyed eating breakfast at the outdoor table on the balcony. The wireless computer was great and we made good use of it - our college-age daughter kept up with her friends. The condo had everything we needed including a full-size washer and dryer. The town of Fernandina has good restaurants, some near or on the beach, and a nice historic downtown with lots of little shops. We enjoyed an evening cruise on the Voyager schooner and saw the wild horses on Cumberland Island. Amelia Island is surprisingly undiscovered and a great place to vacation at the beach. We look forward to going back!
