March 2010 - If you are looking for a relaxing or on the go place to stay I would recommend this suite #206 at the Royal Orleans. It is located across street from the beach with beautiful sunsets and is centrally located close to restautants and to take in all the sights and you can ride the trolley up and down the coast if you don't want to drive. The suite itself is neat and clean and has everything you need. If you want to eat in, it has a full kitchen with everything you need to do that or just walk down the street to the Conch restaurant which is top notch and very reasonable. The court yard at the complex has a heated pool and the complex is protected from the wind so you can enjoy a relaxing time in the sun by the pool. I would recommend this property to anyone. I will be back again next year good lord willing to see all the friends we have met there and enjoy sunny Florida.

Terrific apartment for a get-awayA wonderful condo to get away to. Close to restaurants and nightlife, plus the convenience of having a kitchen with all the appliances and dishes to be able to prepare meals “in house”: save a few bucks and not have to get all organized to go out all the time (especially for breakfast!). Everything is in great shape and nicely done. It was also great to have the wireless internet included so that I could be connected in the room and down by the pool. Being a smaller complex means that we never had trouble getting a lounger by the pool, and it’s a lot quieter and more personal that so many of the huge hotels. Thanks for a great time, and I’ll certainly plan to return!

I would recommend this unit to anyone interested in a wonderful vacation, in a clean and quiet place at a great price. Conveniently located close to restaurants and entertainment when you want to step out. I had a wonderful opportunity to stay at the Royal Orleans in Redington Beach Florida unit 206. This was my second year at this place and I will try and go back again next year if it is not booked. The unit was very clean and well organized with all the essentials you need since it is operated as a condotel. There is free parking on site, cable TV, fully equiped kitchen, air conditioning and basically everything you need. There is 7/24 access to the Management team if required although I did not require their assistance. Wireless access for my laptop is free which allowed me to sit out on the porch and check my emails. In the morning the sun comes up over the top of the building and peeks into the courtyard, at one end,splashing little bits of sunlight all around. It is so peaceful and some mornings a few parakeets would land on the palm trees in the courtyard. They were so beautiful with their bright colours and it gave me such a feeling of vacation and relaxation. While enjoying my morning coffee from my view into the courtyard, I watched the pelicans fly back and forth over the buildings, up and down the beach line. The courtyard was extremely clean with lots of room to sit. There is a BBQ you can use to cook up your meals if you like or it is very close to alot of really great restaurants. Or pick up your own groceries and cook up your own meal in the kitchen in the unit that has a small eating table by the window overlooking the courtyard. The pool was very clean and the temperature was just right for a nice swim. I made use of the information binder that is inside the unit as it contains all types of things to do in this area of Florida. Beach access is almost directly across the road and you can be suntanning or walking the shore on the amazing soft white beaches in less than 3-4 minutes. I grabbed a beach chair and boogie board and off I went to enjoy an amazing day of sunshine. Some evenings we made a picnic and sat on the beach to experience the amazing sunsets. I would recommend this property to anyone, my partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks planning our wedding in Clearwater for 2009. It was everything that we expected, clean, welcoming and it was very quiet, the communal pool was cleaned daily, the weather was great and the area is a must to visit.The property has everything you need, my parents even came out to stay with us for one week which meant that we had to use the pull out bed, but there was plenty of room.I have added this condo unit to our accommodation list for family and friends to view to stay for our wedding. The beach is just a short walk away, there are several bars and places to eat either a short walk away or a short drive, we went out of season but I'd definitely be coming back, if your trying to do America on a budget and want a very good place to stay I would recommend that you stay here. The management team are great, they provided information on places to get married.The beaches in the area were fantastic and beautiful, there is so much to see, and Florida is not just for the adventure parks (although we love them), it really is beautiful and I can’t wait to go back in May 09, I have the American bug!
