Our Destin West Villa has a first class view of both the beach and bay. Facing Destin, you can view 4 miles of undeveloped beach and see the beautiful skyline of Destin. What a view for the breathtaking sunrises. Okaloosa Island is a very family friendly vacation spot, which connects Destin to Fort Walton Beach.

Our soothing, colorful condo has a beachy and light cottage feel, with a touch of sophistication. You will smile with our cheerful colors that blend in with the aqua waters of the sea. Our conventional condo is great for a getaway or a wonderful vacation here at Destin West, where you have access to amenities on both the beach side and the bayside.

The unit is located on the beach side, where you also have a private annually heated pool beneath the villas. Be sure to watch the sun go down by the fishing pier and then walk to a beachside restaurant right out your door. Head to Howl at the Moon Comedy and Piano bar as you pass along different shops at the boardwalk. The Gulfarium is also within walking distance.

Our unit has a queen size bed and a queen sleeper sofa. There is a Flat Screen TV, DVD in the living area and a TV in the master area. The bathroom has a big, relaxing deep set tub for a nice evening of soaking and relaxing. The bathroom also has a separate glass door shower.

There are MANY pools to choose from at Destin West. The bayside offers a 700 ft. lazy river, a heated pool with a waterfall flowing into it, and 2 large hot tubs in the center of the bayside complex. There is also a gradual decline pool that feeds into the Lazy River. Parents love the safety of their toddlers playing in the water.
The beachside complex offers a 5000 sq. ft. pool, a splash garden for the kids, a kiddy pool, and a large hot tub.

A SKYWALK or bridge connecting the beachside complex to the bayside complex makes using all of the amenities at Destin West a breeze! The beachside also has a state of the art FITNESS GYM right on the beach.
CHARCOAL GRILLS and PICNIC TABLES on both the bayside and beachside make grilling out inviting and fun. Or throw FRISBEE/FOOTBALL on the grassy areas by the grills on the bayside.

  • Some wonderful things we did: I was at a conference in Sandestin but I did have the last day free. My husband got to relax in the beach chairs and swim. We walked on the pier at night, listened to a great guy playing guitar at the Ramada next door, ate out every night, and took long beach walks! P.S. Dolphins swam about 25 yds. away from us in the Gulf! Neat!!! And your place is so homey! Thank you so much!

  • The weather was gorgeous! Beautiful and sunny during the day. Loved the lazy river, laid on the beach everyday. Ate at crab trap capt. Daves on the gulf. Loved having the free beach service-umbrella kept us nice and cool. Watched movies in our room at night. Loved all the pools and lazy river the resort offers. The villa was great for our small family. Also, loved the covered parking deck and being able to park on our floor. It was a perfect vacation!

  • We swam in the ocean, built sandcastles, rode the Sea Blaster and ate at different places Had lots of fun with all the different pools and Lazy River. We were here last year and loved it. We will be back again. We love Destin and love the resort. Everything is so nice and there is so much to do. We'll see you next year!

  • The weather was awesome!! High 80's sunny. Partly cloudy. Lots of body boarding-great waves-awesome shells-found 3 huge nautilus shells the size of small apples-went to Panama City Beach. We saw dolphins and lots of jellyfish. Found a great shell at Crab Island-later the next day it was crawling across the counter. Had a great time at night at Baytowne Wharf.

  • The weather was beautiful! This was wonderful after not seeing sun at home in LA in days cause of hurricane Gustav. We loved the lazy river the best! At night we went to the Track and rode go-karts and bumper boats. We love it here and can't wait to come back!

  • WOW!!!...what a GREAT place to stay!!! The condo was clean and cheerful. Lots of amenities. Our favorite was the Lazy River!!! The free beach chair/umbrella rental is a nice and convenient bonus. We also liked the walkway over Hwy 98, covered parking and general location - close to restaurants, shopping and fun attractions. We can't wait to go back!!!!!!!
