The ultimate summer vacation spot on a quiet dead-end street. Enjoy fabulous sunsets sitting in the living room, on the porch or sitting by the fire pit - then roast marshmallows under the stars and listen to the loons sing. Swans, geese and ducks swim by every morning with their young. Bald eagles sometimes fly overhead.
Enjoy swimming, boating, or sailing the lake. Kayak two minutes south to explore the Pigeon River (see turtles, swans, river otter, heron and other birds) or boat five minutes north and west to enjoy the interlake waterway to Burt lake and enjoy their public beaches. Take a two mile walk around the circular drive at Parrot's Point (next street over).
Evenings or rainy days enjoy the game room with slate pool table, and foosball, or board games and card games or enjoy a movie/video games in the living room or kids bunk room on the second floor. Two parents bedrooms are on the 1st floor away from the (two) kids bunk rooms on the second floor - offering all a good night's sleep.
Enjoy a short 20 minute picturesque drive to Petoskey to enjoy great Restaurants and Shopping or drive 30 minutes north on I-75 for a day of fudge and sightseeing on Mackinaw Island.
