Photo 1 - Gulf Shores, AL Vacation Rental The Wavewatch is a beautiful beachfront house just 1 mile west of the main intersection in Gulf Shores. Upper and lower decks attached to the living quarters and a large deck surrounding a 16 x 30 pool give plenty of room for sunbathing and relaxing. The house is directly on the beach with spectacular ocean views. It is one of the premier properties on West Beach. The Wavewatch is a duplex with each self contained unit designated by “West” and “East” sides. Each side contains 6 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms on three floors. There is also covered parking for two cars and off-road parking for an additional two cars on each side. Although both sides are very similar, they each rent through separate listings on this site and the remainder of this description is specific to Wavewatch West. Wavewatch East can be found at listing #148690 From the covered parking area the ground floor may be accessed via the main entrance or the pool deck via an exterior stairway. The ground floor interior features an entry with a large coat closet and a bedroom with bunk beds and an additional single bed. The main floor features a beautiful open living area with a den/entertainment area, dining area and large kitchen. This level also includes a full bathroom and two bedrooms, each with queen-sized beds. The newly remodeled kitchen includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and an island-style breakfast counter plus an enclosed pantry. The top floor contains the master suite, and two additional bedrooms. The master suite has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, private bathroom and a private deck overlooking the beach and pool. The second bedroom on this level has a queen-sized bed; the third has a twin bed with a trundle-bed underneath. The hallway on this floor provides access to the third bathroom and the laundry area. The house comfortably accommodates groups of all ages and is appointed throughout with all of the comforts of home in an up-to-date style. This section of beach truly affords privacy but is only minutes away from the attractions and entertainments of Gulf Shores.

Winter season monthly rentals ........ $2,800/month
Spring 2009: March 16 - May 14 ....... $2,800/week or $460/night
Summer 2009: May 15-August 15 (weekly rental only) .... $4,600/week
All rentals require a $150 Cleaning Service Fee for each stay.
