Behind a private, electronic gate you will find this newly renovated villa and small dependance, extraordinary in both its architecture and its location. The chefs kitchen is a truly remarkable space with Gaggenau appliances, a vegetable steamer, vegetable sink, 2 warming ovens, 8 burners, a woodburning pizza oven, large refrigerator and freezer and dishwasher. In the center sits a large marble-topped antique pasta table for rolling your own pasta and creating delicious meals. There is a small table in the kitchen and also a formal dining room with candelabras and a table to seat up to 16.
The entire house has been decorated with an eye toward capturing the opulence of the local fabrics and colors and the comfort of life in the country. Everywhere you look is postcard-like scenery and there is a beautiful covered terrace with a large dining table adjacent to the large heated swimming pool for dining al fresco to take it all in.
There are 5 bedrooms in the main house and 5 baths, 3 with Jetted tubs, 1 with a shower and one with a gorgeous large soaking tub. Each bedroom has a flat-screen television (Sat TV) and an ensuite bath. The beds are a combination of kings and twins and one is an antique French daybed (double). There is also a library on the second floor with a high-speed internet connection and laptop computer.
The second house, located within the private gates about 25 meters away, has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a small morning kitchen. It is also decorated with lovely fabrics and antique furnishings.
There is daily maid-service and a concierge on call to arrange private excursions and provide local information on festivals, markets and places of interest during your stay.
The Villa is situated in the country amid olive and fruit trees but is within walking distance of a charming medieval village known for its fortified castle and winding cobblestone streets, wonderful gourmet restaurants and its newly renovated world class thermal spa. Guests can walk into town for dinner or to the spa for a treatment.
We are happy to arrange any number of day trips for you, a wine tasting in Montalcino, a cooking lesson hosted by a local gourmet chef and restaurant owner in the comfort of your wonderful kitchen, and provide information on local festivals and markets. Please email us for additional photos.
