We just returned from a great stay at your beautiful condo with another family. We had more than enough room for all of us to stay very comfortably. The condo is very nicely decorated and the beds are so comfortable. If was nice having the ice maker in the condo and we appreciated having the beach chairs and unmbrella there to use. The children were very impressed that the elevator opened right into our condo. We would love to stay here again next summer and I would highly recommend this condo and resort to everyone! :))

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your ultra-luxurious and beautifully decorated and furnished oceanfront condo! As soon as we arrived and took that amazing elevator ride straight to your unit and stepped off into your gorgeous condo with those incredible views from almost every room – we knew it was going to be an unbelievable week! We were right! We did it all and we had a blast!! We want to also thank you for the kind welcoming note and the bottle of wine! How very sweet of you! Our April trip to Destin for the first time was absolute paradise! Staying in this condo definitely added to the comfort level in this beautiful environment on the beach. The condo is absolutely lovely, with very nice furnishings and lots of room. It is truly gulf front property and with the floor to ceiling windows in every room, we always felt the beauty of the ocean. Just breathtaking! Tammie is an owner who is on top of everything. She wants to be sure that your stay is just as I described above. She will address any questions you may have, and take care of any problems that may pop up. That kind of treatment is exactly why we would return again and again! We went the week before Easter and the beach was perfect. The pools are very, very nice and the location of Silver Shells, ideal. I would not hesitate to secure this upscale condo, when travelling to Destin!

Perfect in every way

Spring break with three moms and six teenage girls. I was concerned about coordinating everyone's tastes and needs. This condo turned out to be perfect for us in every way. It has beautiful but not untouchable decor. We found every amenity we wanted, especially the nice pool and easy beach access. With nine women traveling together, three baths were especially appreciated, and the master bath is huge. We also appreciated the security at the gate and the way the elevator opened directly into the condo. Tammie was a pleasure to work with, checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Her attention to detail shows everywhere in this property, from the beach toys and coolers (and an ice maker to fill them) to the beautifully coordinated decor. My husband complained when I came home that this trip cost him the price of a new mattress, because the one in the condo was so comfortable! I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for lovely surroundings and great comfort. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when I read the glowing reviews of this place, thinking they were too good to be true, but I found that it is everything the reviewers said and more. I would love to return to this condo someday.

the first thing i want to express is how great and easy it was to work with Tammie ( the owner) - she made it easy for us to book and kept it touch with us and answered all questions immediately - this was our 1st time to take our 1 yr old on a family trip and we wanted everything perfect- it was more than perfect! - we had very detailed directions on where to park when we got there and how to get to our unit - there are carts waiting by the elevator which allow you to easily load up your items and take the elevator directly to your room - it opens up to a beautiful entry foyer area - and then you lay your eyes on this newly remodeled well kept condo - plenty of room for our family - everything in the kitchen that you would need- new stainless steel appliances- the beds- oh my the beds were soooo comfortable- best bed ive ever slept in on a trip - the bathroom was huge- the balcony had the best view in the resort- looked straight at the ocean ( the closest you can get to it in the entire resort) and you did not have to listen to the partying at the pool- this is away from the pool when you are looking out - but when you take the elevator down to the garage- you are only steps ( 1-2 minutes) away from the pool - we rented a cabana through the resort- but if i had to do it over again i wouldnt rent the cabana cause this condo is so close to the pool and the beach - originally we thought we might have to haul our chairs, ice chest,etc a ways to the beach but that wasnt the case at all - unit 707 has an ICE MAKER - this is sooo wonderful - we filled up the ice chest that are left for the guest to use and used all 4 beach chairs on the beach each day - these chairs are left for the guest as well - we used a stroller that was there and this came in handy everyday of our vacation - we didnt have to go buy beach toys for our daughter because they were already there- i love it because they truly invite their guest to use whatever they need at this unit and didnt lock it all up - we bought our daughter a huge pink beach ball that caught her eye and left it there to add to the collection for another family to enjoy - we were already talking to friends since we have been back and will book this same unit- nothing but good things to say - Greg & Brandi Dallas TEXAS !

Your vacation home is beautiful! I’ve stayed in quite a few condos over the years and yours is by far the nicest (and cleanest!) I’ve seen. You’ve decorated it so well, too. It’s really like staying in someone’s home, much more personal than most places I’ve stayed in. You can tell that it’s been decorated with love. Just wanted to drop you a note on how much we enjoyed your condo last week! We have stayed at several places over the last five years and thought your condo at Silver Shells was set up by far the best! All of the small extras that you have in the condo made the trip much easier and more enjoyable for both the kids and adults. The beach chairs, small cooler for the beach, inflatables for the beach and pool and even a blender for making frozen drinks all made the stay very enjoyable. The condo and the views of the beach were even better than the photos on the website, truly a gulf front condo!

Hi Tammmie. I do want to share with you that we had a WONDERFUL week. The weather and water could not have been more beautiful. We have stayed at several places in Destin over the years and your condo was definitely the most well-appointed property we have ever stayed in. We felt like we were in a home, rather than a “rental condo” at the beach. All of the extras that you provide in the kitchen were very nice, we never felt like we were missing anything or that we just had to do without for the week; you had everything we needed. The ice-maker was definitely worth its weight in gold. We never had to make a “run to the store” to buy ice for the ice chest or for frozen drinks in the evening. My wife has already looked up the model on-line so we can purchase one for our own home! We were very comfortable with two families (4 adults, 5 children) staying in your unit – we never felt on top of one another. The bunk room was awesome for the kids. It allowed all the cousins to stay together and spend time hanging out. We have never rented through VRBO and were initially apprehensive about doing so. I want to THANK YOU for how easy you made everything. Your responsiveness to every question that we had made the entire experience so pleasurable. I feel like we know each other with the number of e-mails/communications that we have had over the last month or two since we started the rental process with you. I am certain that we will be communicating more in the future as we plan our future vacations to Destin. Thanks again for all that you did to make certain that our trip was FANTASTIC!!!

I should have done this a year ago...when we stayed in your unit the first time. I will never forget walking in and thinking it was the most beautiful place I had ever stayed in away from our home. I have gone to the beach every year for the past 35 years of my life...and have stayed in all different places up and down the coastline of Florida. This by far is the nicest, cleanest, and most beautiful...and so convenient to everything there is to do in Destin. The view of the beach is unbelievable in both the master and the guest bedrooms. It is perfect. We hope you keep this unit as we plan to keep renting from you in the future. Thank you for always being so kind and making renting a wonderful experience. We will be back. My Family and I just returned from our annual family beach vacation. Normally we go to Panama City but wanted something alittle closer this year. I happened upon this condo and am so happy I did. It was beautifully decorated convient to the beach and Tammie was a pleasure to work with. I recommend it highly to anyone who is looking for a condo in the Destin/Fort Walton area. The pool was great and there were many amenities on site and lots to do just minutes from the resort. Cindy

What a wonderful condo! Everything was perfect. I have vacationed in Destin with my daughter and her family...three children... for the past eleven years. Everyone agreed that this was our favorite condo to date. The owner was so helpful and faithfully responded to my many emails. If you don't enjoy this place it is no ones fault but yours. It was great having two master suites that both faced the Gulf.

What a great Condo!! We had a great time and the weather was great. I think we will make this condo our new home when we visit Destin. We absolutely loved the unit and it was decorated beautifully.  Nicest decorated one we have stayed at in Silver Shells. The only thing that I can think of it lacking was a mudroom to throw the beach stuff when we came up each day, an architectural flaw.  Other than that, it was wonderful.  Plus, the ice machine MORE than made up for not having a mudroom.  We used it every single day and it is a great addition to a beachfront condo! Again,  great place and super hospitality!  Thanks!!!

WONDERFUL!!!! This unit is PLATINUM! We did our annual Mother's Day trip with 7 women, this being our first time at Silver Shells. The condo was beautifully decorated and extemely comfortable. The kitchen was the best equipped condo that I have stayed in so far. The ice-maker was a huge "plus". Our entire party had great praise for the unit and the property. It's not often you please 7 women!!!! We loved the beach service!!! The food and service were both excellent. The owner was so very wonderful and helpful. She was very accomodating and easy to work with. We will certainly stay in this unit again.

I have stayed at Silver Shells many times in the past 5 years, but this unit was the greatest - hands down. The beds were incredibly comfortable with lots of extra pillows and soft blankets. The kitchen so well stocked, including the barware! The kids loved the double bunk beds! The dining room table was even large enough for the entire family to play games. Truly a luxury vacation, everything in the unit and at the resort seemed to cater to our having an easy and enjoyable vacation. Thank you for sharing your home and we plan to rent again this summer!

This place is a jewel. The pictures do not do it justice. We have been comming to Destin for 10 years and have stayed in beautiful units, but this unit is the best. We were fortunate to be able to stay 2 1/2 months. Hated to leave. The whole resort area is wonderful. Everything you need to have a perfect vacation. Hope to return next year. Frank & Lesslie
