Three-Bedroom Ground Floor Apartment, in an architect-designed two-family house with access to a landscaped garden from each of the bedrooms, recently renovated and newly furnished, adjacent to Medieval Castle in idyllic Black Forest Village, 8 km from historic city of Freiburg.
Kirchzarten with its 10,000 inhabitants, the centre for mountain biking (Ultrabike Event in June) has all the amenities of a large city: train station (10 minutes walk), supermarkets, hotels and restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness gym, organised walks, rides in horse-drawn carriages, biking, tennis, golf, gliding, and skiing (downhill and cross-country only 15 minutes away). Three-day Summer Festival and a famous Christmas Market just next door around the town hall.
Freiburg is just 8 minutes away in the car and easily reached by bike along the Dreisam river in 25 minutes. Titisee is only 15 minutes on the train or by car (shops open all week-end) Schluchsee and Feldberg 30 minutes.
The Rhine River is 20 minutes (Breisach), Colmar (France) is 40 minutes and Basel (Switzerland) 45 minutes. Baden-Baden and Strasbourg are reached within an hour and Europapark Rust is 30 minutes away.
