Lots to do in summer and fall.

The open floor plan is ideal for the whole family to gather with a stone fireplace being the centerpiece. There are many wonderful places to retreat if you want to get away like the upstairs balcony, the front porch, the screen porch out back, or the window seats in the upstairs dormers. Our home has four private bedrooms, one of the main floor. The bonus room over the garage with three sky lights is perfect for watching a video or reading a book, and the kids or grandchildren will love the built in bunks in the upstairs bunkroom.

This home is located on 5 acres on a dead end giving you lot's of peace and quiet--you will never enjoy the stars more than here. Sand Bay beach (the locals favorite) is just a five minute drive. Wonderful place!

We just got back today from the cabin and had a great time with our family. The cabin is well stocked with everything you will need to enjoy your vacation. We spent a week enjoying Door County with all of it's charm. A few of our favorites: Bike riding at Peninsula Park, ice cream at Wilson's, breakfast at the White Gull Inn, sunsets at Sunset Beach and Ellison Bay Bluff, and picking cherries at Lautenbach's. Thanks again so much, Erin & Steve

We had a WONDERFUL week at this great log cabin. It was warm & inviting and even better than the pictures. Very spacious and comfortable. We have 3 adult children with spouses and 1 precious 2-year old grandson. This was a perfect mix of quiet relaxation, biking/shopping/dining around Door County, and endless family laughter.

Beautiful, well-maintained cabin in great location

Our family loved this cabin! The kids loved the bunk room upstairs, while I loved the roomy kitchen and private master bedroom. There was plenty of room for our family plus my sister's family! It is bike ride from Sand Bay Beach, and just a short 3 mile ride into Sister Bay, a darling town with cute shops and fun restaurants like Al Johnson's (Swedish restaurant--goats graze on the roof!). We loved making s'mores at the fire pit at night, and the kids played in the woods around the cabin for hours each day. I would highly recommend this spacious, private home. We can't wait to visit again!

WE KEEP COMING BACK!

Hard to put into words all that we feel about this very special place. We love it so much that we have been going back for several years in a row. The moment you step inside the door you are greeted with a feeling of coming home. You take a deep breath and know that you are in for some rest and relaxation. The home itself is a gorgeous log home that has everything you would need. We love the wooded setting and have even seen deer right on the property several times. Just across the road is the lake, so the water is close by. We love taking walks, reading by the fireplace and going for drives to check out all that Door County has to offer. The home was clean and the owners are wonderful to deal with - they have a good amount of material for you to look through to get ideas of fun things to do. One of my favorite things is to read all the comments of previous visitors in their log book. I would highly recommend this beautiful place to friends and relatives.
