Our home is a quaint and open contemporary with two queen-size beds in two bedrooms. A set of 2 twin beds in third bedroom. There is a loft from the dining area to the family room. On the ground floor is the family room with couch, chair, loveseat (pulls to full size futon bed), and Cable TV/VCR/DVD. There is a spacious deck on the back of the house right off the kitchen for outside dining and a brand new gas grill. Back yard is fenced in with plenty of shade. Completely furnished with all the amenities of home including lobster pot, and plenty of wine and drink glasses.
This beautiful community of Bonnet Shores is a unique family vacation spot and an easy commute to New York City, New Haven, Boston, or Providence. Located on the southern tip of Narragansett Bay at the point where it flows into the Atlantic Ocean, Bonnet Shores is a beautiful crescent beach with a spectacular rocky coastline surrounding a gentle, shallow beach that is perfect for small children. Our home is a five minute bike ride to the beach and five minutes from exploring beautiful Bonnet Point. You can also take the local weekend shuttle that will pick you up right across from the house and bring you to Bonnet Shores beach. (great beach for kids). Our home is also located less than 1 mile to the boat launch at Little Beach.
Located 40 minutes south of Providence, we are 15 minutes from the Amtrak Train Station at Kingston with service to New York City and Boston, 20 minutes from terrific downtown Newport, as well as ten minutes from Jamestown. Drive 15 minutes to the fishing village of Galilee for fresh Lobster or take the ferry to Block Island for the day. A new high speed ferry from Quonset Point (ten miles north) will take you to Martha's Vineyard in one and a half hours! Ride the ferry from Newport to downtown Providence and shop at beautiful Providence Mall. What a way to see the Bay! A great family vacation spot, Bonnet Shores is a very friendly and unique beach community. |
