A detached 1br/1ba private cabin is available separately (w/ house rental): $125/night (see below). Cabin may be rented for the winter (fall thru spring).

This very well located but private Cape Cod style rustic camp was built in 1935 and has been in our family since 1937. It has a 100 foot private beach and is a fun and relaxing place for a family vacation. Those that have had the opportunity to come stay before always want to come back.
Upstairs it has two big bedrooms(these sleep up to 4 with a queen and two singles or twins in each) and a half-bath. Downstairs it has two bedrooms (with two beds each) and a full bath (plus living room, dining, kitchen and back room with extra fridge). It has an outside shower (great for a post-swim rinse off or kid showers), boat ramp, nice sandy beach and sandy bottomed swimming area. Its sandy for about 300 feet out and gets deep gradually (prime territory for little ones - the near shore water can get well over 80 degrees on sunny days). The width of the beach varies from short at the beginning of the summer to up to 100 feet by the end of summer. It has a screened in porch that seats about 8 looking out over the water and outside picnic table(s).
There is great smallmouth bass fishing but I can't tell you where (family secret). It has a wonderful view down the lake, of sailboats, the Burlington Ferry and to Juniper Island. Its a two mile boat ride to the Burlington Ferry docks or you can take the bike path about three miles. Great swimming and water-skiing in the bay. The bay is one and a half miles wide. Oh, and good views of the Burlington 4th of July fireworks.
It's on 2/3 of an acre with parking for five cars and boat trailer space.
There is also a small 1 bedroom/1 bath cabin on the property on the water next to the main house (see picture) available for an additional $125/night. This cozy spot is ideal for the couple that wants to be away from the fray in the big house some of the time. The cabin has a full bath and a small kitchen with a queen bed (full electricity, utensils, sink etc.) and is 260 square feet.
Dogs: If you wish to bring a dog we would like to hear about the animal's training and temperament. Please send a description of the breed. Only well-behaved dogs are allowed. The dog must be kept under control at all times and off the furniture (no dripping dogs inside please). Only one dog is allowed. No dogs are allowed in the Cabin. The dog, if approved, costs $200/stay plus $200 refundable deposit. Unfortunately, we've had trouble with dogs in the past.
Damage deposit: The refundable damage deposit is $500 (due with your reservation).
A written lease agreement will be sent to the renter for signature.
Cancellation fee schedule:
Within 7 day grace period - only PayPal fees; $250 for Day 8 from reservation until 91 days before the start of your rental; $500 61-90 days before your reserved start date, $1000 41-60 days before your reserved start date, half of the total rent plus security deposit 22-40 days before your reserved start date and full rent plus deposit for cancellations 21 days or less from your start date.
Arrival/Departure: Arrival is after 4pm on the start date of your rental. Departure is before 10am on the end date of your rental. This allows for cleaning time between renters.
Payment schedule: We require 1/2 payment + deposits up front to reserve the property and the remainder not later than 31 days before your scheduled start date.
