Have stayed in this condo several times, has everything from a spacious kitchen to the spectacular view of the bay. Exercise room is a favorite, very well equipped. Beaches are gorgeous, there's nothing quite like walking barefoot in the sand! The unit & the resort has something for everyone, we love it here!

When my husband and I walked into this condo, our jaws dropped! The pictures on the website do NOT give this room the credit it deserves, it's absolutely stunning. As our trip was coming to an end, we decided to plan another trip in near future. The view from the master bedroom was our favorite part, who doesn't like waking up to that scenery! We would like to thank Shelley for all of the help she provided us, she's amazing! Shelley we hope to talk to you next summer! :)

Exceeded Expectations-Larger than Expected-Loved the Bayside

Thanks Shelley for a wonderful vacation!! We only hate that it had to end... The condo exceeded expectations. As others mentioned, the condo was much larger than expected. We were two families with a total of five kids at the condo (ages 1-5), and we never felt crowded. The pools were great...the kids really enjoyed the options of the lazy river, zero entry, family spa, etc. The view from the unit was wonderful! We normally prefer to stay on the beachfront, but with the amazing view and the walkover beach access, we were completely content! We hope to stay here again!!

We have stayed at several condos at Destin West and this condo tops them all! The view of the bay is beautiful and we also saw dolphins! The hot tub was really nice-I want to sell ours and get one like that!

This is a great unit. It's one of the largest and best Bay front units at Destin West. The hot tub is in a great spot as it is very private but you can still enjoy the great waterfront view. This is also a perfect location for kiteboarding. Destin West is the last condo before the National Seashore and the bayside kiteboard area is practically next door. The water is shallow and it's great for an East wind. On a west wind, the locals go to the "Pass" next to the bridge to Destin and kite inside the Jetty. Shelley is a graat host and you'll not be disappoint with this unit. It also has a garage which was a great place to dry kites or keep your bikes. Plenty of covered parking as well.

This unit was more than exceptional. The photos, while nice, did not do this unit justice. It was very spacious and very well decorated without all the cliche tropical/beach decorations. The large windows offered spectacular views to the bay. The hot tub was also a treat for a winter vacation and a must-have. The private garage was also nice, providing an extra sense of security. We will definitely consider staying again!

The condo was wonderful, very roomy, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hot tub was the saving grace since the weather refused to cooperate and stayed cold almost the whole time we were there. Having a private garage was nice too, it made me feel very safe coming home after being out shopping in the evening by myself when my son opted out of yet another outlet. Views were great too! Only wish we could have stayed longer!

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation. Everything was absolutely perfect about the accomodations and the resort! This actual unit was spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We felt at home and in "paradise" all at the same time. Our children had a fantastic time with the lazy river, the water park, the beach, and our specific unit overlooking the water. They also truly enjoyed the planned activities they had at the resort everyday (water sports, art, etc). Thank you! We truly had a wonderful time and look forward to another great vacation next year!

WOW! WOW! WOW!...what a wonderful unit and resort. Was more than we expected. This was our first family vacation in 14 yrs and it was worth the wait. We would recommend staying at this unit hand's down. Beautiful views, convienent to everything...the only problem is that you have to leave and come home. Thanks Shelley, it couldn't have been any better...blessings to ya!!!

We're still talking about what a wonderful time we had, the condo was lovely, very spacious & located close to everything. The view was just beautiful, very soothing & relaxing. Destin West has something for everyone, from the well equipped fitness room to the heated pools. We look forward to returning & escaping winter once again! We had a wonderful time in the condo. It was bigger and more beautiful than we could have imagined. It was truely our home away from home for several months and we enjoyed every minute of it. Shelley was so helpful when we needed anything! We are both from areas near the water and really loved being able to look outside at the water. The hot tub was a fantastic treat since it was so cold during our trip. We enjoyed the added convenience of the garage as well. We didn't get to the pool area but it looked like fun. We hope to be able to stay in another of your units if we return again to Florida. Now that we are home we are missing the jacuzzi bath tub and spatious bathroom. Thanks for making our trip such a fantastic, memorable mini vacation for us.

Shelley, I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at the Resort. The condo itself is beautiful and had everything we needed. The view is gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio enjoying the view. I think every meal was eaten on the patio table. My two-year-old loved watching the boats go by. My older son enjoyed fishing on the bay and it was great that we were able to have him in view while he fished. We all spent the majority of the time in the pools. My little one loved the wade-in pool and we loved it because we could sit on the edge while she waded around. We all enjoyed the lazy river and the use of the private pool. Having the option of going to the beach was great. The walkover is truly convenient. Many of beach walks were taken. We ventured out a couple of times - we enjoyed our dinner at AJ's Restaraunt. Great food, relaxing atmosphere. We took our older two children to Big Kahuna's while the grandparents walked our toddler to the Gulfarium. Other than these couple of times out, we stayed at the Resort. It had everything we could want - great amenties, easy access to the beach, beautiful condo, excellent weather. Thank you for allowing us to rent your condo! It was the vacation we were wanting - RELAXING.

Shelley, just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the Wallace’s condo in Destin West.We all felt the facility had so much to offer on so many levels. We all enjoyed the lazy river and private pool and our grandson was thrilled with the wade-in pool. The walk-over bridge and private beach access was so convenient, CLEAN, and a close to The Boardwalk. Everyone enjoyed The Gulfarium, Marina Café, Louisiana Lagniappe, and Destin Ice Seafood. The golfers in the group enjoyed the courses they played and the shoppers appreciated the outlet mall in Destin. All in all we felt the condo was very well appointed and a very pleasant place to be…..a nice home away from home. We would definitely consider a return trip.I forgot to mention how much we enjoyed the patio looking over the bay. There’s a lot of interesting “traffic” out there. What fun for our grandson to see a tug boat doing its work, various yachts, ski boats and jet skis. The last night we were there and after our grandson was asleep, we (the adults) gathered on the patio with our wine and enjoyed a FABULOUS lightning show over the bay and the sound of a gentle, steady rain….ahhhh! I’m finding myself looking for another excuse to go back soon. It’s easy for EVERYONE to find their own pace there. Again, thank you….you were a pleasure to deal with.

Sorry this is late but better late than never. We rented last August and this place was absolutely beautiful. The condo was exceptionally clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. The kids had their own rooms with their own TV/DVD. The view off the deck was so relaxing and gorgeous. It was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was a definite bonus. Thank you for letting us rent your wonderful place. I have highly recommended it to everyone I talk to who may be coming down to Destin. Michelle

Wow! What an amazing unit. The view is absolutely breathtaking, the hot tub overlooking the bay is like heaven. We made the short walk across to the ocean which is crystal clear with sugary sand, fished on the pier then watched 'our shows' on the flat screen TV's. We ate great seafood nearby and even made it to the outlet mall just 20 minutes away. The master bathroom was nicer than many 4-star hotels and resorts. Highly recommended and the owners are so helpful.. Two thumbs up!
