Me and my 2 Sisters stayed there for 2 days to celebrate our Birthdays together. The house was close to Mt Shasta for the fun activities, yet out far enough to feel like your are in the woods as the house is set up away from the road. The house is beautiful, homey, inviting and very comfortable. The beds were the greatest and the house had everything, plus extras. Comfy, spacious and beautiful front room with large flat screen TV with DVD for lounging in with a awesome view out the back of the house where you can sit and have your coffee in the morn. or dinner by night. The price is low in comparison to others for this wonderful house and I would stay there again in the future. Thank you so much to the Owners and Managers for our great stay.

We stayed at the House of Bass and Lilies for a week's vacation while my parents were visiting from France and we had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable and beautifully decorated: everything is setup to make you feel at home: comfortable beds, all the kitchen accessories you might need, washing machine and dryer... The scenary is beautiful and the whole environment is serene. We were able to enjoy the outdoors: hiking, walking around the beautiful little towns (Mt Shasta, Weed, McCloud) and we visited Oregon for a day (Ashland, which we enjoyed very much). It was a perfect vacation for our family ranging from our 11 year old son and our 27 year old daughter to my parents in their 70s... Anne

We stayed at the House of Bass and Lilies for the second year in a row - it was painful to leave this beautiful, comfortable home to return to foggy San Francisco. Each morning, we could see deer and jackrabbits exploring the property. We enjoyed breakfast outside with a view of Black Butte and the morning sun warming our backs. After a day of hiking and swimming - luxurious big, soft towels after our shower and a well stocked kitchen to prepare gourmet dinners which we enjoyed in the evening warmth, drinking in the view of the Eddies. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone. It is very clean, and comfortable - and it feels more like a home than a rental, with many personal touches and high quality furniture, appliances and linens. We missed high speed internet access, but even that became a blessing after a few days of sanity..

This home was amazingly beautiful! When we arrived at the house the front and back yards where completely covered in snow. As we entered through the front door we where shocked at how clean and comfortable this home was. The living room was cozy and inviting, the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, condiments and spices! We had friends join us for dinner on valentines day and the dinning room was perfect for a romantic dinner for 6! The beds where cozy and we slept great! The bathrooms where fully stocked with Large Hotel size towels. The washer and dryer allowed us to return home with no dirty laundry! The snow that covered the yard was perfect for the kids to sled down and build snowmen. It entertain them for hours on end! The best part of this home where all the added details of Bass an Lilies. Not over done in anyway, to be honest we giggled ever time we notice the detail of the home. The Bass salt and pepper shakers to the ceiling fan pull strings. The home was beautiful and we hope to return again soon!

We had a wonderful family vacation in Mt. Shasta City and we all loved the beautiful, immaculate and very comfortable vacation home. We had lots of fun fishing, hiking to the McCloud waterfalls and hiking around Castle Lake, hiking up on Mt. Shasta, and swimming at Lake Siskiyou. The boys loved the fishing decor, and the deer and chipmunks that approached the dining room window. The home is a very relaxing place from which to venture out on daily adventures.

Thank you for letting 4 old men enjoy your lovely retreat. The weather was wonderful. We really enjoyed the Mt. Shasta Resort Golf Course and I was lucky enough to have a hole in one on 13 which certainly made my stay memorable. We enjoyed the fishing at Siskiyou Lake and Castle Lake. Looking forward to our golf outing at Mt Shastina Golf Course. Thanks again for truly fine accommodations.

Thank you for sharing your comfortable home with us. We enjoyed the kitchen and having a king-size bed (as our little one still sleps with us)! We celebrated our baby's first birthday with some friends and enjoyed some beautiful days on the slopes. The town of Mt. Shasta is very quaint, perfect set into all the beautiful landscape. It was a great place to visit and we hope to come back int he summer to enjoy the trails and lakes!

Thank you for providing a wonderful house for us to spend the weekend. We all had fun playing in the snow. It took us a little while to find the wood for the fire, but we found it. The house was great and welcoming at the second we walked in the door.

Thank you so much for making your home so comfortable and available to us. We got a fantastic day of skiing in and have enjoyed snow shoeing in the backyard. Unfortunately, we have been pretty much snowed in the last couple of days and have become very limited in our activities because of the weather. As I write this, I sit next to the warm wood-burning stove while the candles (the power is out) shine around me. Even though we ahve been prevented by the weather your house has been the perfect warm and cozy haven to be snowed in!

We loved staying in this beautifully furnished home which is roomy, comfortable and secluded, yet only a short drive to town. The scenery was gorgeous and the late-October weather perfect--warm during the day and cool enough at night to enjoy the cozy, wood-burning stove. The charming town offered a wide selection of restaurants and shops. Great vacation spot!
