This fabulous home is spacious and comes complete with a family room, dining room, well thought out kitchen with granite countertops, a breakfast bar, decks galore and a detached studio apartment, The Treetop Studio(sleeps 4),could be added to the equation, at an additional cost, to accommodate more guests.
Whatever the equation, the end result will always equal a wonderfully, relaxing and funfilled stay.
The main floor consists of an attractively-furnished family room which features a wall of windows exposing a spectacular panoramic view of the main channel and opposite shore, skylights that show off the stars, a handsome study, a full bath, kitchen, dining room and a bedroom designed with see-thru niches that welcome the glow of the morning sun.
A loft bedroom located right off the great room looks down into the great room and has double doors that open to a view which overlooks the middle deck.
The gourmet kitchen has granite countertops, custom cabinetry, ceramic tile flooring and a peninsula breakfast bar with additional seating for up to five people. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining room, which leads to the screened-in sunroom, has beautiful wide planked hardwood flooring. With this open-floor plan that flows from kitchen and dining area across the great room, the cook will remain in touch with activities, indoors and out. You'll never miss a Kodak moment!
This cozy home away from home comfortably sleeps 12-14 people (Up to 18 when you add the Treetop Studio). Each bedroom has a panoramic view of the lake and some even have a private door that leads to the expansive, fully furnished deck where you could enjoy your morning cup of joe.
The master suite has a king bed and a full size bathroom with shower. Just down the hall is another bedroom which has a private full bath that could be accessed from within the bedroom or from the hallway. As you meander the lower level, you will also find a third bedroom, with incredible views, equipped with a queen size bed, a powder room, laundry room with washer and dryer and a game room.
Paradise Pointe and the Treetop Suite come fully furnished. Both kitchens have dishes, cookware, flatware, glasses and some basic and gourmet appliances. We are also pleased to provide bed linens, bath towels, detergent, bath soaps, cleaning supplies, trash bags and paper products (toilet paper and paper towels).
For those on business, high-speed internet is also available. Why stay anywhere else?

Do not stay here; the house is falling apart and is dangerous for young kids

We booked this house for a 5 night stay in August with another family. The pictures of the home are very nice, but must have been taken atleast 10 years ago. The house is in desparate need of a paint job, new appliances, repaired dock and decks. Our kids could have been seriously hurt on the dock which had loose tiles. A hot tub was advertised on the Web site that the owner pointed us to, but the hot tub is empty! We did not have Internet access at the house for most of our stay since the owner is not local and did not send anybody to fix it until the fourth day. The owner is very difficult to work with and is paranoid about renters damaging their home, which is ironic given the current condition of the home. We will never rent this home again, and we rent homes at the lake at least 6 times per year. Look elsewhere!!
Owner response:We are committed to providing excellent service and product to our guests and we do everything within our power to make sure that each stay is a pleasant one. We can only honor this if our guests are communicative, responsive, honest and reasonable. As with all homes, there are some maintenance issues that arise. As vacation rental owners we ask our housekeeping staff and guests to report all issues that appear to be of warrantable concern. We also make it a point to contact our guests on the arrival day to check in. Several calls were made to our guests and with each call a message to return the call was left. Our calls were responded 24hours later via email. Housekeeping was sent out on two to get clarity of the issues. Access was denied. Our guest mentioned that we were paranoid. Initially, our guests had thoughts of bringing a pet but was concerned about paying a pet fee. When access to the property was denied, we began to question the integrity of our guests. We began to wonder that maybe they brought their pet or they might have had more than the allowed number of guest in their party. Our call was finally answered on the fourth day. When asked why we had not received a return call our guest said, “I was trying to enjoy my vacation.” I believe that real reason why our guests are writing this review is because they were charged a penalty for breaking into one of the locked closets that stored our personal items, some electronics and our internet equipment. They were also upset that they could not have a late check-out. We were receiving guest on their departure day and this was explained at the time their reservation was made. As for the hot tub being empty, the hot tub is explicitly offered as a winter amenity.

We had a wonderful time staying at Paradise Point. We were overwhelmed with how spacious and beautiful the home was and the numerous amenities throughout the house. We had 8 adults and 4 children and everyone had their own space. The eastern exposure, plentiful shade and ceiling fans made the screened porch ideal for any time of day. The kids really enjoyed the slide into the water on the "party deck". Two thumbs way up!!!
