We had a wonderful time. We were so blessed to have found this little house on the lake. We were so glad that the lake was down because we had little ones. It was like being at the beach with our jet skis! We will be back.

Kelly & Matt, Thank you so much for sharing your cabin. We had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect and we were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our dinner at the Lake Athens Marina. We ziplined, rented a pontoon boat, and swam every day. It was a fantastic week!

We had a great time. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we do plan on coming back. The cabin is great, nice, clean and comfortable. The lake was low but we did catch 20/25 lb. catfish just after dark. We loved it. Hope to see you this fall.

Some friends and I stayed here for Mother's Day(2011). We had a blast!! It was quiet and peaceful! We stayed on the pier all day hanging out and built a fire at night. The sunsets are absolutely beautiful and so is the morning sun on the lake! Been trying to book again, but it's always rented!!

I flew my father and my girlfriends two boys to Texas for a weekend of fishing with me on Cedar Creek Lake. I was looking for a really nice place for us to stay that was on the water but away from other houses. It was my fathers 80th birthday so it had to be just right. I found Waters Edge on the net and it looked great so I booked it. Now I had been down that road looking at houses before and couldn't think of where this place might be because I didn't remember seeing it. It's tucked back in a place that makes it just what I was looking for. When we got there the place was far better than I could have hoped. It was sooo clean and comfy. I would book this place again in a heart beat. It's private with lots of room to roam and had a good dock for my boat. Swimming is great right out the front door and with the deck to sit on and watch all the water fun, it's just a wonderful place. I can't tell you how nice this place is. You just have to go!

We loved the cabin! It was so cozy and intimate and we loved the view from the porch!! We had fun browsing the shops in Malakoff and relaxing on the porch. My husband even tried to fish a little. We will definitely be back!

This was the most relaxing weekend we have ever had. The house is perfect and we loved every part of it. Caught a ton of tiny catfish, loved your neighbors. We plan on coming back soon. Thank you for such an amazing place!

What a peaceful place! You've done a wonderful job of decorating, too. Thank you so much for the opportunity to rent the house - it's a welcome break from my busy schedule. Hope to visit again soon. Also, highly recommend some of the shops in Athens - Kathy's Boutique, Sweet Peas and Waldenwood.

I think you should re-name this place: A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN because that's what it is. We felt so at home here. It is an outstanding vacation place & everything was perfect. Hope to see you again next year!

We came here with our 2 sons and had the best 4th of July ever! The fireworks on the lake were amazing! We made a campfire & smores almost every night. This really is a great place to stay! We can't wait to come back. Thanks for everything!

Thank you so much for making your lovely lakehouse, vacatiion retreat available to folks like us. Our weekend has been such a blessing! We enjoyed fishing off the pier, swimming in the lake, relaxing conversation on the porch, plus a trip to the East Texas Arboretum and to Athens. We simply ran out of time - so plan to come again, Lord willing, for another weekend retreat.

We came to celebrate our girlfriend's 50th birthday! This weekend exceeded our expectations. The cottage was so warm and homey. The lake was relaxing. Mary and Martha came from Mooreanna's to give us massages on the patio: was the highlight of the weekend. This may become an annual event. Dinner on Friday night at The Marina on Lake Athens was also very good.
