The Guest Cottage is located on a country road going into the town of Cape Charles. Actually within town limits, the beachfront is less than 5 minutes away. This is the perfect resting place after enjoying all the treasures of the eastern shore.
The Eastern Shore of Virginia is a place where the land is fertile and the waters run clear . . .a peninsula with green fields and golden-hued wheat bounded by the frothy waters of the Atlantic and the shimmer-dance of the Chesapeake Bay. Home to waterfowl and shorefowl, seafood is abundant here and a taste of the shore should be a part of everyone's itinerary.
A diverse choice of activities for your personal selection . . . boating, kayaking, exploring the marshlands, fishing of all kinds and sandy beaches with incredible sunsets. Artists working in various mediums live on the shore, making shopping in little stores and boutiques a unique experience with one of a kind finds.
Cape Charles itself is bustling again, with restoration and development evident everywhere. Situated on a deep working harbour there is also a new marina on the other side of town.
