Location: Parkside, Kiawah Island, Charleston Area, South Carolina, USA (20 Miles from Charleston)
Accommodations: Condominium, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4)
"Elegant, airy, well-equipped, comfortable, convenient" are some of the words our guests have used to describe our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Parkside Villa. Our villa is located on the 2nd floor and features cathedral ceilings in the living and master bedroom areas. The comfy red couch invites you to sip your coffee while gazing at the wildlife activity on the lagoon. Whether dining on the screened porch or having a cocktail on the deck, you will find yourself quickly unwinding from the pressures you left behind.
Our villa is steps away from the lagoon bridge, and is only a 350 yard walk from Kiawah's famous 10 miles of pristine beach. In addition to its proximity to golf and tennis, and miles of walking and biking trails, our villa is surrounded by many island amenities. The Sanctuary (Kiawah's 5 star hotel), Night Heron Park (which offers recreation for children of all ages), and the Town Center (with a fine Food Court and market for necessities) are all within a short walk or quick bike ride. With all of this, you will find that once you arrive, you will want to linger on this beautiful island we call Kiawah. However, should you crave "city life", historic downtown Charleston is only 20 miles away and is definitely worth the trip.
Upon your check in with our rental management company, you will receive your keys to our villa, an Island pass, and some information about things to do in and around Charleston, as well as a comprehensive map of the Island. We look forward to having you as a guest in our villa. We think you will love Kiawah as much as we do.

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2003
My husband and I were both born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware and were first introduced to Kiawah Island when visiting my sister who was living there at the time. We were so captured by the beauty of the Island and nearby Charleston, that we decided to contact a realtor. We tease that by the time we returned from our visit, we owned a villa! We were particularly drawn to our Parkside Villa because of its proximity to the beach and its view of the lagoon with all of the wildlife activity. Work and obligations here in Delaware prevent us from visiting Kiawah as much as we would like. So we are pleased to be able to share our villa with you. We strive to assure that you will find our villa to your liking. Please feel free to offer us any comments or suggestions on how we might continue to improve your experience. Thank you so much!
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
Viewing lagoon wildlife from the 2nd floor unit...it feels like you're in a treehouse. Having lunch/dinner on the screened-in porch overlooking the lagoon. Walking the very short distance over the lagoon bridge and arriving at the beach! Bike riding on the beach (a unique experience!) and on the extensive bike trails. Dining at all of the restaurants on the Island and in and around Charleston...you really can't get a bad meal anywhere! I could go on and on....
