Pelican 406 is an exquisite condo unit on the 4th floor, which offers one bedroom with twin beds in the hallway and two baths. The master suite offers a king size bed and a private bathroom. This unit also offers a set of twin bunk beds privately located in the hallway area near the guest bathroom. The living room offers a queen sleeper sofa for additional guests, if needed.
Fully equipped kitchen (should you want to cook) has everything you need during your stay. Seating for four is available at the dining room table, with additional seating at the bar. Relax in the comfortable and beautiful living area. The queen sleeper sofa in this area will accommodate two extra guests.
From the living area, you can open your patio doors and walk out to experience the views of the Lazy river from your private balcony. The Lazy river is the most popular attraction on this property. It travels around the three pools and two hot tubs, and is equipped with fiber optic lighting, that makes for a truly entertaining and enjoyable experience in the evenings. It is wonderful to look down on the Lazy river area at night, as well as take a late evening trip around in the relaxing current of the river.
Pelican 406 offers beautiful furnishings, tiled floor in the main areas, plush carpet in the bedroom, all linens and bedding, kitchen supplies, washer and dryer in a small laundry room, dishwasher, appliances, cable TV and VCR/DVD in the bedroom and living area.
For safety there is a connector walkway, over Highway 98, between the bayside and the gulfside. This allows guests to enjoy all amenities of Destin West Gulfside more quickly. An elevator on each side allows easy access for guests. Kids and adults alike enjoy the water splash garden, located at the gulfside beach walkway. Additional pools and hot tubs are also available for guests on the gulfside. Four miles of private beach is yours to enjoy on the gulfside.
Okaloosa Island is really one of the best kept secrets on the Panhandle. Guests are near countless boutiques and galleries, as well as world class fishing, golfing, boating and any imaginable water recreation. Shopping is only minutes away in either direction. There are outlet malls and traditional beach shops in addition to speciality shops found only in Destin and Fort Walton Beach. In the old-fashioned downtown area, there are even quaint antique stores to browse.
Really, there is something for everyone here!

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We would have to say that we love the location. Being away from all of the noise and traffic of Destin, but being able to be in Destin within just a few minutes is a wonderful convenience. It feels so much more relaxed on Okaloosa Island. And, of course, the Lazy River, has to be the best feature of any place ever!! We love it and we think you will too!!
