1. Did recent hurricanes damage The Enclave??? Hurricane Ivan, September 2004 did significant damage to The Enclave. The Enclave was closed for repair from Sept 04, and reopened in May 05.
2. Did Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005 do any damage to The Enclave??? No, the damage was to the west of the area.
3. How is the beach??? The beach was widened in Feb 2005, and again in Dec of 2005. The beach is wider then you have ever seen it, back to the size it was in 1950.
4. Are the pools open??? Because the pools were totally washed away, both the indoor and outdoor pools were completely rebuilt bigger and better then the original and were opened in December 05
5. Is there construction going on now in or near The Enclave??? All hurricane construction is complete in The Enclave. Buildings on either side were repaired by the same construction company.
6. Have all the kitchens in The Enclave been upgraded to wood cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances??? No, I took advantage of the down time and replaced the white composite cabinets with cherry wood, the white counter tops with African granite, and the white appliances with stainless steel; including oversize double door refrigerators in the 3 units I own 301,401,601.
7. Do all the units in The Enclave have reserved undercover private parking space??? No, the reserved parking spaces have to be purchased by the individual unit owner. I purchased one for each unit I own, at a cost of $22,000.00 dollars each. This is a huge perk when raining or in season.
8. How many vehicles can we bring??? You will receive 2 parking passes. Extra cars can be parked across the street in unguarded public parking, no pass required, no motor homes, trailers, boats or RVs.
9. Use my dial up Internet, which is free for you to use. The unit has a desktop computer, but often kids will change pass words and you can't get on the Internet. I suggest you bring your laptop with wireless card and access free wireless Internet in our community room on the ground floor.
The Gulf Front master Suite has a king-size bed, The adjoining master bath features a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, double vanity, and walk-in closet, The second suite has two queen beds, TV/DVD and full-size adjoining bath with a tub and shower, The third suite has a two full beds, and adjoining bath with shower,TV/DVD The living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa, The complete kitchen features all major and small appliances, silverware, and dishes, Wet bar, full-size washer & dryer in unit, iron & board, and vacuum, Office computer,free dial up internet, yes free, NO CHARGE, The indoor heated pool area has huge sliding glass doors leading to the spectacular, beach side outdoor pool and tanning deck, The tennis court is private and usually lonesome for some dancing feet, An extra bonus is secure, under cover, reserved parking for your vehicle.
