This place is a great deal. The title is not an exaggeration... the house is within steps of Ocean Park beach, which is beautiful! The kitchen was well stocked (and this was important because we cooked several nights) and there were plenty of towels provided. The bathroom and bedrooms were simple and very clean. Adam was very helpful in advising us on day trip itineraries, local eateries, etc. The house was only a 10 minute ride from San Juan so it was easy to go back and forth. If I return to Puerto Rico I will definitely stay here again.

AMAZING stay at 8 atlantic!

My a cappella group and I stayed int his amazing place for almost a whole week. The rooms were spacious and air conditioned, and had fans as well. We fit the entirely of 12 people super comfortable between the studio space and the loft. We were right on the beach, restaurants and shops were super accessible and everything was relaxed, easy and convenient. Adam even hooked us up with a few promotional gigs and we made our name known in Puerto Rico through his incredible kindness and connections. Adam is an AMAZING and considerate landlord and property owner who knows how to make a group feel at home. Everything was clean, kitchen fully stocked, comfortable beds and couches. We could not have asked for more. This was the best Spring Break I have ever had (coming from a college student that means a ton!) and I wish I could go back. Our group is deeply indebted to Adam and Atlantic Place for such a hospitable, convenient, easy and relaxing vacation. Thank you So much! Times a million!

A real San Juan experience

We rented the entire villa for a few days for a 15 person get together in San Juan. If you're looking for a resort vacation, this is not for you. However, if you want to experience all that San Juan has to offer then this is the place for you. The beach is literally a few steps from the property and there really is no excuse not to go for a swim every morning or whenever you have some free time. There are many great local shops and restaurants within walking distance and old town is only a short drive away. There is on site parking for 2 cars and we had no problem finding spots for all 4 of our rental cars nearby. Adam was also great and very helpful answering questions and providing suggestions or tips. This place worked out great for us and helped contribute to a great San Juan vacation.

Hello,Mr.Adam pray all is well.The vacation sure was deserving and all went so well..We travel the Island and could not stop eating.We enjoyed the stay at your rental Vrbo 116600,at Atlantic Place..that is a great spot..gave an honest review to how happy we were there,so close to everthing..it was my brother from Buffalo who chose Ocean Park for he has been in the area and knew all the locations..we went to Museo de Ponce,Rincon,Aguadilla Crash Boat beach,Isla de Cabra,Old San Juan. I gained about 5 pounds..my wife said "No more Platanos" everytime she had seafood Platanos were there in some shape or form..Again Thank you very much for your attention and making it Happen.

I went to Puerto Rico for Memorial Weekend and Me and a Group of 18 stayed in Villa 6. Adam was the nicest host, he met up with us at the Villa and gave us all the tourist information that we may need while in PR! He was very helpful through out the planning process for me and the group. We LOVED our stay there the Villa was Clean and Beautiful literally 20 steps from the BEACH!! Will recommend to anyone going to PR to have a Great Time! Thanks Adam Everyone Had a BLAST!!!

We had it made with all commodities around us and beach not crowded..Post office,Restaurant,Gas Station,everthing at walking distance and the beach just Great !! Almost everyday only small groups or none.The water just right..will be back again..the location safe and just steps from the water.Easy access to any part of San Juan..The Apartment 3 large rooms with AC.living room and kitchen with all amenities..parking for the rental car..all just worked out right..Thank you Mr.Adams for your attention,you where really helpful and courteous..we all enjoyed our vacation..

For a first visit to San Juan, this property will be difficult to top, particularly when traveling with a group of friends. Accommodations were exactly as advertised, the beach was a stone's throw away, and assistance was never far if it became necessary -- including small things like suggestions on where to eat!

I stayed at 8 Atlantic Place with a group of friends for our spring break and the property was great and Adam was very helpful throughout our stay. I was a little skeptical because the property seemed too good to be true, but it was in fact 20 steps to the beach, clean, well maintained and in a convenient location. Adam was always available and quick to respond to any questions, concerns or recommendations on restaurants or activities. One of our air conditioning wasn't working well and, within an hour, Adam bought a new unit and installed it right away. I have no complaints and would highly recommend 8 Atlantic Place to anyone looking to have a great stay in San Juan. Thanks for everything, Adam!

Great beach house!

I along with 11 other law students rented a villa and two studios from Aqua4u and absolutely loved our stay. The house is literally a 30 second walk away from the beach and 5-10 minute taxi ride or a 20 minute walk to all the fun places we wanted to go (bars, beaches, restaurants, and casinos). Adam was very kind to rent to us and even gave us a quick run down of some of the things we should see while we visited Puerto Rico and where we could shop for groceries and other necessities. You must go to see the Fort in Old San Juan and check out the rain forest, El Yunque, Just outside of San Juan. The Bacardi factory was close too! Definitely would recommend to all my friends and family. Pros: Very close to the beach. The property felt safe and secure. The Villa was connected to both of the studios we rented so we all were able to hang out with each other. Affordable Cons: None really. Just a heads up though: there is no central air. There are air conditioning units in the window. Some parts of the house will not be as cold as the bedrooms. That's really it. Otherwise the bedrooms get nice and cold :D.

For Christmas week, I was part of the party that stayed at 8 Atlantic Place. I slept in the room north of the kitchen of the second floor apartment. Generally, I like the layout and setup of the place. It is nice to find a furnished place and to be able to cook one’s own meals. I thank you for the extra set of keys so I could come and go on my own. The ocean was handy. The ceilings were very high.Your guide to tenant’s binder was very useful. I liked the listing of nearby amenities. One item to add is the nearest post office drop.

We could see ants everywhere, from kitchen to bathroom. Air conditioners were old and loud, making it almost impossible to sleep with the AC one. The living room and kitchen did not have air conditioners at all and it was quite hot. No screens for windows so that we could not open the windows at night otherwise mosquitos would come in. Even so, some windows could not be closed completely and we had to light mosquito coils in each room. The hot water in the bathroom was basically trickling.

Owner response: Puerto Rico has a rich and diverse Flora and Fauna. While our villas are cleaned and fumigated after each visit, insects such as mosquitoes, ants, lizards, frogs, etc… cannot be eliminated. They are part of the Caribbean beach experience. As for the heat, at AQUA4U we provide each bedroom with its own air conditioning system and fans in the common areas. The units are in good condition and replaced regularly.

Great vacation rental for the extended family

We went to PR with the whole family--16 total, including toddlers, kids, teens, adults, and seniors. Aqua4U was a great house for us. We loved being able to spend time together but also have privacy. The house was just as we expected based on the pictures. It was also a quick walk to the beach (which was beautiful). We all loved walking to Kasalta for breakfast and lunch. The teens liked to walk to Condado in the evenings. Adam was really easy to work with from the beginning--very responsive to all of my pre-booking questions, answered some questions before our trip, and responded quickly to a couple of minor issues we had during our trip. We hope we can go back soon!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We originally supposed to go to a wedding, but the bride decided to cancel two weeks before the wedding, and all the hotel rooms were cancelled. Since we still had refrundable plane tickets, we decided that we would still make the trip to Puerto Rico and wanted to find something more economical than staying in a hotel. It is a very great price for the quality and location of the place, especially with a large group. The villa is located a few houses down from a nice beach with good ocean water. We knew exactly what we were getting ourselves into because the web site showed an accurate layout of the place. The kitchen contained an electric stove, full size refrigerator/freezer, cabinets, flatware, sink, and dining table. The living room contained a television, couch, and chair. There was both an inside shower and an outside shower. Each bedroom had an air conditioning unit. The apartment was clean, in great shape, and perfect for the vacation/beach environment. The neighborhood had a combination of both tourists and locals. The landlord came by the first day to make sure everything was good and was very helpful. Also, one of us left her earrings in the apartment and the landlord found them and sent them back to her the same day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to San Juan and wanting to be near the beach.

The Villa perfectly suited our group of ten. The house is literally a 30 second walk to the beach and just minutes away from stores and restaurants. The house had all the essentials that we needed. The property was well taken care of and clean, and Adam met us at the beginning of our stay to go over the basics of the house and the area. He was able to recommend places to see and put us in contact with drivers that were such a huge help in planning our day trips and kayaking at night. We took cabs at night to go out because it was easier, but Im sure some of the places are close enough to walk to. The neighborhood was in a great location, and we felt safe. Everyone in our group loved the villa, and if I were to go back to PR, I would definitely consider renting this property again.

This Villa was a great choice; literally a few feet away from the beach and a 15/20 minute walk from Condado. The owner came by to make sure that we were comfortable and answered all of our questions about the are a. He was very accomadating and it was great doing business with him. If you plan to partake in nightlife, you may have to rent a car as the taxi's to the more popular Condado region can become pricey. Overall; great stay.

Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Perfect Location for a Great Spring Break

I am writing on behalf of a group of 9 college seniors who stayed at the villa for a week long Spring Break vacation this past March. Adam met us at the house upon arrival and gave us a great verbal walkthrough of the area as well as provided us with a useful rental book with plenty of area information. The house was clean and well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. Being essentially right across the street from the beach was the best part of everything; it was so easy to make the trip back and forth and made the stay so convenient. We did not rent a car for the duration of our stay which ended up being the right choice as cabs are fairly priced into Old San Juan, and the Condado area, supermarket, laundromat, and drugstore are all within close walking distance. As far as excursions are concerned, ask Adam for the name and number of the man who drives the large taxi up into the rainforest. He gave us a great tour of the island and stayed with us the whole day. It was all at a very fair price as well. Additionally, four of us booked a tour to the bioluminescent bay. The experience itself was very cool but I would be sure to book with a reputable company, as ours was very sketchy (but this is unrelated to Adam or the villa!). I look forward to returning to the villa some day in the future!

were horribly hot. we arrived and in the guest house and the first bedroom up the stairs' air conditioner wasnt working. took the owner three days to get back to me to tell me he is gonna have his AC guy come look at it when he is the one who showed up on the third day to call me and say he is gonna have to replace em. never accommodated us for the two nights we had to spend in the HORRIBLE HEAT. however, he did have it fixed by the time we got home the third night. water pressure was very poor and towels were not even clean. they smelled pretty bad after one use. hopefully this review gets posted. and mr adam take this very serious. thanks. enjoy your stay if you do.

When my husband and I come to PR we stay in a smaller guest house. This time we brought our four children ages 27-12, down for a week between Christmas and New Year's and needed a house. A quick fifteen minute cab ride from the airport to the property, and we were met by Adam at the property. He is very pleasant and made sure we had all our questions answered before he left. Everything that has been written about this place is100% accurate. The property is well maintained and clean. We quickly made ourselves at home. The house was a perfect size for us with enough room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The bus stops right around the corner to take you to Condado and Old San Juan, a large 24 hour supermarket (SuperMax) is a short walk away. You also catch the bus here to go to Plaza las Americas, a large shopping mall. Local eateries like Kasalta's (B,L,D), the Latin Cafe (on Calle Bano) and Mona's were our favorites. If you want to do the tourist thing, Condado is just another short walk. One block north is Calle Loiza where you can get a bus toward Isla Verde with a 24 hour Walgreen's and many other fast food places and fruit stands. To say the beach is close is an understatement. The neighborhood itself is fairly quiet. Since McCleary is a major road, you will hear traffic, but this is a small price to pay for such a terrific location. I have already recommended this location to my friends and coworkers, and our older kids are looking to get a group together to return, and the youngest wants to come back for two weeks next time! This prpoerty is centrally located and easily accessible. As for my husband and I, we would not hesitate to try one of the smaller apartments for just the two of us the next time around. Everyone in our family was pleased with this property

My stay was very pleasant. There were no disagreeable surprises after discussing the property with Adam, the owner prior to coming over, he was very helpful and concerned that my stay was comfortable. The state of the apartment was very clean and well maintained. The close proximity to a variety of restaurants in the neighborhood was very nice and the 45 second walk to the beach was wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have an affordable nice getaway in a safe and relaxing neighborhood.

This once again was the perfect option for cozying up to San Juan's best beach in Ocean Park. Affordable, comfortable, safe and located in San Juan's best beach neighborhood. This is the second time I have stayed here and will continue to return..... my Puertorican home away from home.

This is a great place to stay! We arrived in San Juan and had a short taxi ride to the clean and well-maintained apartment and suite. Adam promptly met us and recommended great food and attractions close by. It is 20 steps from a great beach and a 15 minute walk to casinos, great shops and food in Condado and on McLeary Ave. We will highly recommend this property and VRBO.com to everyone we know. We stayed in villa 6 at Aquat4U from 6/12/10 to 6/19/10. It was a great decision. Just steps to a beautiful beach. Walking distance to a few great restaurants and shops. Easy drive to everything else. There were 3 adults a 2 children in this unit and we were quite comfortable. Had the basics of what we needed. The owner and his associate were very friendly and accomodating.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The descriptions and pictures shown on the website Aqua4upr website were accurate and as explained. The location is great its extremely close to the beach as indicated and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and convenient stores nearby. The location is safe are there is plenty of parking on the side roads. We were a party of 10 (8 in the 3br 1b, and 2 in the 1br 1b) the price is extremely reasonable than what you would pay for at a hotel for the same amount of people. I would definitely recommend this place for those traveling to Puerto Rico and looking to be closer to the locals. A word of advice, trying to find the place may be a bit confusing as the place is located off of Mcleary which is also Ashford.

The 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms are in fact one 3-bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom and 1 studio apartment with 1 bathroom that are located on opposite sides of the same building. You must exit one apartment, go through a gate, walk outside along the street and then enter another gate to get to the other apartment. It's not a problem if the people staying in the studio want to be isolated from the people in the 3-bedroom. Also, the studio has a queen bed, not a king. Aside from that, the place is super close to the beach and nicely situated between Old San Juan and SJU Airport and I'd definitely recommend it. Also the landlord is super friendly.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.
