Snowy Cove Cottage is a cabin built for vacation rental. The cedar sided home is located at the Eastern Continental Divide on Scenic Highway 9 in Black Mountain. Enjoy the cool mountain temperatures at 3000 feet elevation. In the winter time you could easily experience snow if the conditions are right.

We are within 10 minutes of the Town of Black Mountain where you can experience the quaint charm Black Mountain has to offer with its many shops, galleries, antique stores, restaurants, and the Swannanoa Valley Museum. After you have enjoyed Black Mountain you can easily head down the mountain to the Village of Chimney Rock and then enjoy what Lake Lure has to offer all within 20 minutes.

Snowy Cove Cottage has beautiful Hickory Cabinets and Red Oak floors along with Slate Tile. It is completely climate controlled for your comfort. All you need to bring is your clothes and toothbrush because we have provided all the linen's and utensils for you to enjoy your time at our new cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can eat in if you choose. The local grocery store is on the way to Snowy Cove Cottage. After a day of shopping or recreation, you can enjoy a soak in the hot tub.

  • What a cute cottage! The rooms are all very clean and the cabin overall has a cozy, mountain feel. My mother, sister-in-law, nephew, and I had so much fun spending time with one another and visiting the nearby attractions. The hot tub was a big hit on those chilly spring mornings. I would recommend Snowy Cove Cottage to anyone who wanted a nice mountain cottage close enough to surrounding towns, such as Asheville, but far enough to have a secluded, quiet stay. Thanks for the fun memories.

  • Wonderful cabin! Very quiet and peaceful. Well decorated and maintained. Although the cabin has a phone, don't plan for cell service or Internet. This place truly provides a break from the world. We look forward to returning.

  • We absolutely loved our girls' weekend get-away at Snowy Cove Cottage! The cottage was very clean and uncluttered! We really enjoyed the gas fireplace, hot tub, and down comforters! We plan to make our visit to Snowy Cove an annual event!!!

  • We spent a beautiful fall weekend at this cabin making up for lost time with friends from California. The simple beauty of the interior was a great backdrop for the autumn glory outside. Together they created a warm, inviting environment for our reunion. Everything we needed was there. We especially loved the hot tub by candlelight. We also had fun exploring the surrounding areas which are very accessible. We have plans to return next fall.

  • The cabin is small and charming. The hot tub is a great amenity. It is very comfortable and not overly fussy or austentatious. We enjoyed our stay immensely, plus it was near to Black Mountain which is a great destination for restaurants.
