We where there, 2 couples for five days. It is a wounderfull place. The place is neat, the furniture in top condition. It's near a big supermarket and a lots of excellent restaurant nearby. There,s a lot of space. After a day walking in biltmore or in the trails the hot tub is wellcome and appreciate. Doing business with Kim was easy and fun. For 4 persons this is a marvelous place in this area. germain

Excellent accommodations. New cabin with rustic feel exceptionally clean and well maintained. Designer kitchen and bath. My sister and brother-in-law from Colorado stayed with us and loved it too. Tucked away in the mountains but only a few minute drive to Black Mountain (very quaint town) and about 20 minutes from Asheville.

This was a clean and wonderfully decorated cabin. The location was perfect for hiking at Montreat College in Black Mountain and also close to Chimney Rock and Lake Allure. We loved being away from everyone yet, close to everything we needed for hiking and dining! The hot tub away from any neighbors was a plus! VERY CLEAN.

We went to Snowy Cove Cottage for Labor Day Weekend with my son, his wife, and baby. It was just perfect for us and all the room we needed. Everything was clean and in good condition, and the cabin was tastefully decorated. It was accurately described as "cozy," and I thought it was an excellent value for the money. We loved the central location where we could go to Asheville, Hendersonville, and Lake Lure with the cottage as home base. It would be an excellent choice for a romantic getaway.

This secluded cottage is down a gravel road and is hidden from other homes in the area by dense foliage. It is clean, efficient, and shows beautiful craftsmanship. the beds are comfortable, the owner helpful and pleasant and the cottage is a wonderful spot to get away or to explore the many sights and sounds of the Black Mountain/Asheville area.A great and unexpected bonus is a discount card for the nearby and excellent grocery store! We are planning regular trips to the area and will look no further in search of restful and comfortable lodging.

I traveled from Washington State for my daughter's graduation from Warren Wilson College. I had another daughter travel from Oregon and one from California. Everyone enjoyed this so much more than a hotel experience. The kitchen was nicely stocked with the tools necessary for meal prep. This cabin was the perfect location for my family to gather to celebrate and share some time and meals together. The cabin looks just as good in person as it does in the photos. It is a little ways out, but since there isn't any traffic it was easy to get to town or the school. The front porch and the hot tub were a treat as well. Kim was extremely helpful.

We spent 4 nights at Christmas time at this adorable cottage, and had a great time. The minimalist furnishings are a welcome change from many rental cottages, most of which have too much clutter. The red oak floors are beautiful, and the kitchen is very roomy and was a delight to cook in. We were very impressed that the owner had set up a Christmas tree in the living room, complete with lights and balls and tinsel! Very thoughtful. While we were there, we definitely had a white Christmas -- plenty of snow! The owner plowed the steep and narrow road leading to the cottage promptly, and we were able to leave without incident. Would definitely recommend a 4-wheel vehicle (we had one) during the winter for the treacherous roads, but, after all, it IS a mountain! The town of Black Mountain is charming and filled with unique specialty shops, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Both of our sons live in Asheville, and we will be returning to Black Mountain in the future when visiting them.

We loved the modern amenities at the cabin- the decor was beautiful! Close enough to town (took us 6 minutes to get to Black Mountain downtown) yet tucked away nicely in the woods to feel like you are away from it all. Although there was a lot of road noise from Hwy 9 that runs just above the cabin, and there are about 3 houses that are fairly close by (the hot tub needs some more privacy screen) we thought that the location was about as good as you can get! We would definately come back and recommend again to friends!

What a great find this cabin was! After searching endlessly for overpriced cabins in Asheville, I was lucky enough to come across this place in Black Mountain. Though it's tucked kind of low near a main mountain road and there are several other homes fairly close, the cabin is an absolute delight. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and new. The hot tub was outstanding under the stars, too, and the gas log fireplace worked great. Hope to be back soon!

What a cute cottage! The rooms are all very clean and the cabin overall has a cozy, mountain feel. My mother, sister-in-law, nephew, and I had so much fun spending time with one another and visiting the nearby attractions. The hot tub was a big hit on those chilly spring mornings. I would recommend Snowy Cove Cottage to anyone who wanted a nice mountain cottage close enough to surrounding towns, such as Asheville, but far enough to have a secluded, quiet stay. Thanks for the fun memories.

We spent a beautiful fall weekend at this cabin making up for lost time with friends from California. The simple beauty of the interior was a great backdrop for the autumn glory outside. Together they created a warm, inviting environment for our reunion. Everything we needed was there. We especially loved the hot tub by candlelight. We also had fun exploring the surrounding areas which are very accessible. We have plans to return next fall.

The cabin is small and charming. The hot tub is a great amenity. It is very comfortable and not overly fussy or austentatious. We enjoyed our stay immensely, plus it was near to Black Mountain which is a great destination for restaurants.

We loved this beautiful cottage. We had never rented a cabin before so we were a little unsure about the whole process of paying up front without even seeing the property. Kim was very patient with us and we are so glad we rented the cabin. Great location...loved the town of Black Mountain. We would definitely rent this cabin again. The Cravens Destin, FL

My husband & I stayed in this cabin March 11-14, 2007. It was great!! I am a natural skeptic, sounds to good to be true-type person, so I expected something very rustic, very primitive regardless of the photos & description. I was very surprised & extremely pleased. The cabin is exactly like the pics and description. We are telling all our friends & family & hope to return in the future. Thanks for renting to us.
