"Ideally" located above Weatherall Fine Art we invite you to stay at Van Gogh's View, the perfect beach getaway in our highly sought after and relaxing resort town of Santa Rosa Beach. It is on Scenic Highway 30-A and free from high rise hotels, crowds, congestion,traffic and is incredibly convenient to Destin and Seaside should you be looking for an abundance of activity. Located across the street from the the beach, Van Gogh's View has a sidewalk that leads to the beautiful sugar-sand beaches and emerald waters of Santa Rosa Beach. This home away from home is furnished with all the necessities for relaxed living.
The inviting light and cheerful living area holds a comfortable leather sofa (sleeper) that seats 4, expanded cable TV with a DVD player and a stereo and CD player. The living area is open to the dining area and kitchen, and is great for relaxing or entertaining. The kitchen has everything you need to make even a large meal for the family. There's a full set of dishes, new pots and pans, several sets of glasses, a coffee pot, toaster, microwave, blender and just about every utensil you should need. We even have an igloo maxpack cooler that's handy for taking drinks to the beach. There are also two counter top chairs at the bar. It's just right for getting everyone together to reconnect and enjoy a meal with friends and family. The balcony on the back of the unit has a quiet, semi-private sitting area. The balcony off the front bedroom and kitchen is perfect for morning coffee, reading, or simply relaxing.
The bedrooms are decorated in warm inviting colors, fine art, and are comfortably furnished with queen sized plush top beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with brand new flat sceen T.V.'s and both have a private bathroom. There is also a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, making Van Gogh's View spacious enough to sleep 6. There's plenty of room for the whole family, but it's also really cozy for two.
The (snow white sand) beach here is quiet, scenic, clean and just a 4 minute walk from the suite. Great for walking, sunbathing, swimming and playing in the water, and of course making sandcastles. We provide beach chairs upon request. We like to take our chairs and a beverage and relax on the beach while we enjoy amazing sunsets, or take a nice evening stroll along the water or scenic walking trail.
When you're ready for a break from the beach, there are plenty of other things to do. If you like shopping, you'll love the charming clothes shops which include Gidget's, SOHO, and Hepburn's, at Gulf Place (only minutes away). Check out our local artist's wares at all the local art galleries along beautiful 30-A. You'll also find Butterfly Bike Rentals that carries a vaiety of different sized bikes and other outdoor water equipment for rent as well. You'll also find a surf shop, spa, and pharmacy nearby the property. If you're hungry, there's the popular Cafe Tango located across the street and is absolutely delicious. Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor and PJ's is only minutes away where you can find great coffee and desserts. For casual indoor or outdoor dining, there's also the Smiling Fish Cafe(live music on the weekends in the summer), Amore Pizzeria and the Beach Bar. If you'd rather cook, there are quite a few convenient grocery stores nearby. "For The Health of It" for all of your organic needs along with Publix and Wal-Mart in Destin. There are a couple of fresh seafood markets right in the town of Santa Rosa Beach also. Goatfeathers is only about a minutes walk
(on 30A), and one of the best fish markets around. You can eat there or take it back to the suite.
The Beaches of South Walton represent the nation's best beaches with its miles of unspoiled shoreline and natural habitat. It is designated as the only place in the country to receive the Blue Wave Environmental Certification from the Clean Beaches Council for all 26 miles of its coastline.

Why the Owner Chose Gulfview Heights
We decided to build Van Gogh's View because we enjoyed the area so much. Over the course of a couple of years we kept coming to the area, we finally realized that it would be a great place to live, work, and raise a family. We love the location and lifestyle. It is off the beaten track yet convenient to everything. Restaurants, coffee shops, parks, bike trails and of course the lovely quiet beach with perfect sunsets and emerald waters are all just out the front door.
The Unique Benefits of this upstairs suite
It is a true escape. Van Gogh's View itself, the beautiful beach, the short walk to Gulf Place, Ballyhoos, Goat Feathers and Cafe Tango can't be beat. The proximity to Rosemary Beach, Seagrove, Seaside, and Grayton Beach is also fantastic. Golf is a passion and there are plenty of courses in the immediate area.

Great accomadations- Very surprised- better than first rate- Close to many options, but away from the crowds- Private, but not secluded.
