This 2300 square feet Luxury Log home built in 2004 has all the luxuries of a custom home located just 50 feet from the most famous Salmon river in the world, the Kenia river. For those needing extra accomidations we just added a new guest house located just feet main cabin. The Kenai and surrounding area provides world class fishing (King, Silver & Red Salmon, not to mention Halibut and Rainbow trout) During much of the summer Red and Silver Salmon can be caught right off the properties private fishing ramp. Enjoy friends and family around the large outdoor fire pit, custom made to great Alaskan standards.
We have 20 years of experience in the area therefore can provide valuable information regarding who to fish with and what to do and see during your stay. It's a beautiful 100 mile drive south of Anchorage to the property located in an upscale area only 1.5 miles off the Sterling Highway. You can also fly to the city of Kenai only 20 minutes away. The property has a gated driveway with plenty of parking. Local maintenance and house keeping is included.
This luxury home & guest house has many custom upgrades, outfitted with the finest amenities available, Log Beds and Furniture through out. Within the home their are many traditional pieces of art, not to mention a many trophy fish & animal mounts. Not only is this property a great get away for the guys or girls it's a great family retreat. Although the area is most famous for the fishing and hunting it is also famous for the it's scenery (Mountains, Rivers & Glacier's) and wildlife (Eagles, Moose) which abound. The property is located only 90 minutes from Seward and Homer two famous fishing and tourist locations.

Our family lives in Mpls Minnesota, my occupation allows me to travel the world for both business and pleasure. My wife and sons really enjoy traveling with me hunting and fishing but we all agree Alaska is our favorite.
Why the Owner Chose Soldotna
I have been traveling to Alaska since graduating from College in the mid 80's but never thought we would own a home on the Kenai river. Every time we visit it seems as though it is a new adventure, the fishing the hunting and scenery never lets us down. Most importantly the memories of our family and those who have rented from us are priceless.
The Unique Benefits of this Log Home
Visiting our home in Alaska has so many things things to offer. Staying in a custom Log home right on the river is awesome when you consider the options of have dinner, or coffee on the deck just 50 feet from the water not to mention a private fishing ramp with a built in deck and cleaning table. The tough part is what do we do today, fish for Reds, Kings, silvers or take a trip to Homer or Seward to hike glaciers or just fish Halibut.
