Your Camera or your palette is a must, if you take the mile long Marginal Way, an ocean-hugging, cliffside walk full of dramatic vistas with ample spots to sit and soak the sun and views.
Down in the Cove (Perkins Cove that is), one can take a whale watch cruise, go on a deep sea fishing excursion for 1/2 or a full day, enjoy a cocktail/sunset cruise.
On the occasional non-beach day, a day trip to that famous outdoor outfitter is fun - and nearby Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Portland for tours of Casco Bay is always entertaining!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this cottage and we are still equally impressed. The location is perfect for getting to spots in both Ogunquit and Wells, and it is uniquely peaceful and quiet. I especially loved the huge eat in kitchen, and the enclosed front porch was great to sit in the evenings and enjoy our time. The hosts responded within 5 minutes when we had a question. The hosts really go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable - I had mentioned I like to grill, and they went on a rainy day to assemble a brand new gas grill so that it would be ready for our arrival. (For those of you who like to use the grill - please note the town ordinances prohibit the use of charcoal grills, hence the gas grill). We will definitely stay here again. We enjoyed our week at Ogunquit. The accommodations were very nice for the 5 of us. Wish is was just a little closer to beach and town - we definitely got our exercise walking places! We would recommend this rental to anyone.

I have vacationed in Maine for years and I have to say this was a great place. The layout is perfect for a large family. It is spreadout and you are not on top of each other. The location is great. Near everything you need. Trolly stop across the street. A short walk to the beach or you can catch the trolly. Great having a pool to use. It seemed like it was a private pool for my family. A great place for a large family. We loved it.

I just left this morning and things are fresh in mind. The house was neat and clean when we arrived. The layout of the house was great. It is spread out so you are not on top of each other. The location is excellent. We were near everything and anything we needed. We always had access to the pool. The people are near by if you have any issues. The overall stay was great. A wonderfull vacation.
