El Fuerte is a Spanish-style home located on a dead end street. We are set back from the sea 40 yards. We built this vacation home to offer our family and others privacy, security and the beauty of the island as well as the local people. We offer all the amenities of home. We have a quite veranda for those morning coffee treats and a hammock for those afternoon naps. Both bedrooms have their own AC with individual controls. High ceilings with ceiling fans throughout offer a comfortable temperature during the day and evenings. The ceiling, cabinet work and furniture are built with seven different wood types native to the country of Belize.
We are located within walking distance of many restaurants, beach bars, grocery stores, internet cafe, kayaking and fishing/diving/snorkeling trips. We are located one mile south of town. We have a very talented cook that offers many local dishes if you would like an evening meal cooked for you and your family. Her specialty is fish dishes. This is a treat and a favorite of many guests! This is not included in the rental fee and is calculated on the amount of food required to prepare the dishes.
El Fuerte and Belize are two places that you will want to visit again and again. The quaintness of the island and the people are second to none. |
