I liked swimming in the pool and looking for the cats, especially Rrrrrrrrrrocco. I really enjoyed the comfortable bed; I had the best sleep. Thank you.

We have had a wonderful family experience: the grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, 13 of us, were very comfortable here. The garden was spectacular. I love Italy and we will never forget Villa Gioianna!!!

We should be going to bed but do not ant to miss one minute here. We will leave early tomorrow morning but wish we could stay forever! We have so much enjoyed the house, the grounds and the flowers. I guess this is a popular place for San Clemente, California girls. Noticed that you’ve had a few here (smile). Even though there’s no surf here, it’s one of the best rides I’ve had ! Thank you so much for taking such good care of the “overly enthusiastic” eaters! We had a great time . . . the location is so beautiful. Can’t tell you how many times I thought back on the movie “Under the Tuscan Sun.” I’ll never forget my 50th Birthday here in Italy . . . flying over the countryside in a hot air balloon! Coming to Villa Gioianna was like opening a door to a movie set and letting our girls run wild. The ten days we spent at Villa Gioianna exceeded our dreams and expectations. Hanging out in the kitchen speaking Italian with Rosanna, watching Marco [the babysitter] chase the kids around the house, drinking a campari with Anna in Panicale – all of the experiences we had with you combined with the day trips and time we had hanging out at the Villa made our time here truly fun, diverse, and exceptionally memorable. Thank you so much for a wonderful time and your hospitality. The Villa is just like a paradise, the olive grove, veggie patch, herb garden, olive oil, tomato paste. We learned how to cook some Italian food. Pizza, Pasta. It is worth the long way from my home (New Zealand).
