We booked casa flor the garden suite for 6 adults and it was perfect. 2 double and 1 twin bedrooms all with a/c! thank god as it was very hot while we were there 84 deg most days!! We did not need to rent a car..we walked to the beautiful beach every day which is only a 2 min walk. And walked 10 min to condado most nights to restaurants and bars. There is also a bus stop only a 2 min walk from house which brings you to old san juan for a mere 75cents! We booked zip lining with campo rico who picked us up outside the gorgeous kasalta bakery! And booked bio luminesant lake with pure adventure who picked us up by bus at local police station to fajardo. All in all the house is in the perfect location to see all in San juan and Puerto Rico. 5 of us (me, my husband, our daughter and my parents) stayed at Casa Flor for 5 days over Easter. The description of the condo was accurate regarding both the living space and the location. The neighborhood was only a 15-20 minute drive from the airport, and the directions provided were extremely helpful in finding the condo. Unless you only plan to go to the beach, you should definitely rent a car to take advantage of the local sightseeing. The neighborhood was quiet. The condo was clean, well-equipped and well-laid out for a family to relax and enjoy the time in Puerto Rico. We ate some meals at the condo, and enjoyed having the kitchen to store and prepare drinks and sandwiches for sightseeing trips. Only two short blocks to the beach!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Yes, a rental car is important for the outside-of-San Juan sightseeing, such as the Rain Forest, the Bioluminescent Bay, the Caves...but many gems in town such as Old San Juan, Museums, Farmers Market are easily accessible by bus for those without a budget for a car, and Condado is a short walking distance. My husband and I stayed at the white condo at Casa Flor for l0 days. The place was very clean and comfortable, and in a nice safe neighborhood with a security guard at the end of the street. He only let people in who belonged there. The Kasalta bakery was wonderful! It is a very short walk to a lovely beach where there were all kinds of activities. We rented a car at a very good price at Enterprise Rental near the airport. We drove every day, so we got to check out a lot of San Juan, so I highly recommend renting a car. We also went to Fajardo where the El Conquistador Hotel is, and it was the most beautiful hotel we ever saw. It is on a golf course, and you take a ferry out to an island where you can swim, jet ski, ride horses, etc. We so love Puerto Rico, and highly recommend this place in Ocean Park that Monique and Gerry own. The other condos in the building were even nicer than the white condo.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We traveled to the San Juan area for a wedding in April and stayed in the Skylight unit at Casa Flor and couldn't have been more delighted with our stay and the experience. The wedding was in Condado but we were so happy to have stayed in Ocean Park. Monique provided wonderful information and suggestions as we narrowed our choices and we are so happy that we chose Casa Flor! Gerry met us upon our arrival, showed us the unit, and provided maps and suggestions for places to eat and visit - all marked clearly for our reference when we weren't so groggy from travel. He also brought a bag of beach toys for us to use (and they got a lot of use :) as well as chairs for our beach outings. We traveled with our five year old and Gerry and Monique were kind to set up a twin bed beside the queen in the bedroom so that we could put our daughter to bed at a reasonable time and still be able to enjoy the evening without tiptoeing around as we would have had to do in a hotel. The space was clean and well appointed; it was a quick walk to the beach, stores, restaurants and services; we felt safe and secure during our stay. We were there for ten days so it was wonderful to have a kitchen for preparing meals and snacks, a clean laundry room so we could do a load and not bring bags full of dirty clothes home (special thanks to Gerry for coming to our assistance quickly when the lock was turned on the laundry door :), a speedy WiFi connection, and secure parking. I would heartily recommend renting from Monique and Gerry - they certainly added to our great adventure! Our family rented the entire villa for a full week and could not have been more pleased. The pictures do not do it justice. It was clean, convienent to stores, close to public transportation and the beach was, as our granddaughter said, "Just like a TV comercial". Monique & Gerry were extremely helpful. They provided various maps, pointed out places of interest, (especially Kasalta's), and even provided coupons for some items. If you're looking for a clean, safe and convient place to stay... look no further. This is it. Thanks again Monique & Gerry. We traveled with 4 of our friends and stayed here. The location was great. we walked to the beach and enjoyed every day. Property was clean Internet was fast. Local resturant was walking distance for breakfast and the best deserts in PR.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family stayed in this villa while in Puerto Rico for a family wedding. Monique was very flexible, we had family arriving on different days and leaving at different times. We had 12 people in our group and it was great to have all the seperate bedrooms yet a living area where we could get together to visit. The public beach was very close and was clean. There were restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. We really liked the extras. (boogie boards to use in the ocean, a covered area to sit outside while raining yet not get wet, kitchen was fully furnished, brochures for area attractions) Thanks Monique for everything!Owner response: Francie, thank you for your awesome evaluation! Me and two of my friends stayed in the "Skylight" suite back in January for about a week and it was just perfect! My best friend and I decided to make a trip to Puerto Rico for some R&R. We had an amazing time! We decided to try to rent a place rather than stay in a hotel and I am sooo glad we did. Monique and Gerry were amazing! We stayed in the White suite which was perfect for what we were looking for! Everything was provided for! Everything was clean and neat and in the perfect location to everything that we were looking to do. 2 blocks from the beach, about 2 blocks from resturants and shops, like I said perfect location! Gerry and Monique were so sweet and nice from giving us suggestions on authentic resturants to being flexible with my flight!! We will definitely come again!!! We stayed in the Skylight suite in Feb 2009 and it was wonderful. A very short easy walk to a beautiful beach in a secure friendly community. The suite was a good size for two people and had everything we needed for our vacation. Monique was extremely helpful and friendly. She was always available to assist with any concerns. The suite was clean and well maintained. The suite was centrally located to allow short walks to resturants, stores, and recreation. I would highly recommmend that suite to anyone looking for a vacation without any problems and very close to a great beach. It met all of our needs. We stayed at Casa Flora and enjoyed it greatly. Monique was waiting for us upon our arrival and went over everything we needed to know. The beach was just a short walk(2 blocks)and the stores were just around the corner. It only took us a 15 minute bus ride to Old San Juan (75c).The house was clean and neat.
