Enjoy staying in this wonderful two story double porch classic that was recently fully restored with great care. The house, we believe, was originally built across town on Caroline Street before 1900. Sometime around 1908 it was cut in half and dragged by mules to it's present location. This home features heart pine floors and pine walls, marble counter tops, glass tile and custom cabinetry throughout.
The two room master suite has a deep soaking tub, bidet and walk in shower with body sprays and a separate dressing/wardrobe area. And a King Size Iron Bed.
There are three additional spacious bedrooms painted with the vibrant colors of the carribean. There is a White Iron Queen Downstairs located near a full tub bath. And A Queen Bedroom upstairs and also another bedroom with two Full beds that can be pushed togetherthat is also upstairs. And an additional full bath on the second floor.

The kitchen has a gas cook top, oven, wine refrigerator and top of the line stainless appliances ready to prepare the finest meals. The dining room lends itself to dinner parties very well. The living room has a large TV for viewing movies on your nights home.
Two sets of French doors lead out to the lushly landscaped and lighted yard with tropical plants and specimen palms and an outdoor dining table.
The old cistern was transformed into a glass tile pool that is heated and surrounded by a tropical Ipe hardwood deck. Evenings spent outside are beautifully lighted. The entire property is gated and fenced for privacy. Dine outdoors under the large old Sappadillo trees.
This home is located on the corner of White and Von Phister between the beach and White Street Art District in a neighborhood of other large historic homes with wonderful tropical gardens. Duval Street is within easy walking distance and this is a great area to get around on by Bike. There are great restaurants, film and theaters nearby. This is a lovely home to enjoy your Key West stay and you may never want to leave..

Wonderful Area near everything in Key West and we wanted to restore this property for many years. When the oppurtunity came to buy it we didn't hesitate! We knew exactly what we wanted to create. We love old houses and restoring them
The Unique Benefits at this House
Near the beach and in a great neighborhood that is less congested yet still Historic with beautiful gardens. The location is great for bikers and runners and just going for a walk down to Louie's backyard for sunset cocktails. The house has a lot of art and books and is super comfy. We have 10 foot ceilings on the first floor and cathedral and tray ceilings on the second giving the house an extra grand feeling. And with all the Palms and Trees you feel like your living in a Tropical Tree house. The master bedroom has views of another homes' Widow's Walk which gives it a Key West feel.
