This is a beautiful stone & cedar lakefront cottage. This half acre private wooded lot offers gorgeous views of the lake from almost every room in the house. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of two decks or on the Adirondack chairs on the dock. The incredible thing about this home is that along with its privacy, it is just steps away from a multitude of activities for both children and adults. A waterpark is very close by. Recently renovated, painted, and redecorated this cottage has all of the comforts of home and more. An array of novels and a video library will keep those looking to stay put entertained. You can easily entertain with large groups in the new kitchen and great room or dine out at one of 6 restaurants around the lake (some within walking distance). Enjoy all of the facilities on a sunny day, but you will never be bored with all of the area amenities on a rainy day.
Remember your golf clubs for the 27 hole course just a few steps away.

My family and I stayed here for a 4 day weekend. It was fabulous! The house is charming. We especially loved the stone fireplace and the fantastic views of the lake. Fortunately for us, the lake was frozen and it snowed each day so we were looking out at a winter wonderland. The deer in the pics of the house are real. They visited us each day hoping for some food. Overall, it was a wonderful time. The owners were great! I highly recommend this house and plan to come back again.Did you find this review helpful? Me and 8 other friends went on out annual Nascar Weekend. It's out 13th year. This house is our favorite. The location was perfect. Close to split rock beach and bar. perfect distance to Route 115 and 940. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Even the hot tub was cleaned out. Rented the house for a weekend and it was phenomenal, with everybody having a great time! The house felt like home right away for all of us there and that was very important to us because it allowed us to feel and be comfortable. The property was clean and well-maintained, and also the community itself was the same. I rented the place sort of last minute but the owners were very friendly and very responsive to my e-mails and did everything to ensure that we could rent the property on time. Their customer service was excellent and without it, the trip would not have been possible at all, so I thank them for that sincerely. The property is also only a 5 minute drive to 2 ski resorts and food/gas is approx. 10 minutes away. An excellent house and I hope to rent from you again!Did you find this review helpful? Stayed here with a group of friends (aged 20-30) June 2011. Place was very nice, lake was great for swimming, fishing (caught large mouth and perch right off the dock on the property), and kayaking (they have 2 kayaks for the renters to use in the basement), There were motorboats and jet skis, peddle boats on the lake that you could walk to the docks like 500ft from the house and rent. Also wakeboarding/water ski lessons done there too. Nice area, had fun times at the water front bars. The property owners were very nice, and always responded quickly. If you bring kids, be careful as there is a street between the house and the water, cars/golf carts driving by were seldom and mostly slow moving though, so not the biggest deal in the world. but overall the views were amazing, and the house was in great shape, and very clean. Also not shown, is a real nice fire pit down by the water. and the living room/dining room is actually much bigger then the pics show, plenty of room. Hot tub was nice too, fits 6 people. Lots of wildlife in the area, we were feeding deer, ducks, chipmunks all week. We will be going back there next year.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
