Located in a beach cottage community at the Rookery, this property offers use of two pools, spa tub, tennis court, nature trails, and Tiki bar. The cottage is located at the 6 mile marker on Fort Morgan Road in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Public beach access is across the street at the end of Cortez St.
The zero entry level pool is great for small kids. Enjoy the common BBQ and picnic area by the pool and tennis court.
Area is great for fishing, bird watching, and golf. Fort Morgan Marina and restaurant are within five miles. Peninsula and Kiva Dunes golf courses are a short drive. Grocery store, and restaurant are located across the street within a half mile.

- The Rookery was designed to be a natural and quiet resort, and it is located adjacent to the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. If you are looking to relax, and get away from the crowds, join us at our cottage at the Rookery. Within a short drive you can enjoy family fun at Waterville U.S.A., Track Recreation Center, Pirates Island Adventure golf, ride the Ferris Wheel at the Wharf. Visit the Gulf Shores Zoo, Bon Secour National Wildlife, and historical Fort Morgan. Dauphin Island Sea Lab, and Fort Gaines are a ferry ride across Mobile Bay. Fort Morgan Marina and Tacky Jack's restaurant are located nearby. Drop by the Village Market & Grill for lunch, or have dessert at the "Coffee & Cone Shoppe" at the Beach Club. You can enjoy cheeseburgers, buffalo wings & music at Echos or mexican food at Tequilla Bay. You'll have fun whatever you choose.
