Come have a fun and relaxing vacation at our beachfront little get-away on the Isle of Palms, Charleston, SC. Wake up in an oceanfront condominium on one of South Carolina's most beautiful beaches. Beautiful sunrise and an awesome sunset, dolphins out front in the surf. You can view all of this while keeping an eye on the kids in the pool, all from the comfort of your living room, kitchen, or balcony.
Located in the heart of Isle of Palms, this cozy condo is perfectly positioned. You are just steps from the beach and in walking distance to the island’s best restaurants, shops, and park. This condominium complex claims the only pier on the Front Beach strand, private for your fishing or relaxation enjoyment.

IOP is a barrier island suburb of Charleston.You are only ten miles from the Historic District of Downtown Charleston, where you can shop at the Old Market. Take in the charm of this beautiful and historic town and learn more about Charleston on a horse-drawn carriage ride, or tour Charleston Bay and Fort Sumter by boat. South Carolina Aquarium, world class restaurants and shopping, live theater, live music, museums, and more.
*All condominiums and sea cabins are not in the same condition! Some of the condominiums and sea cabins have not been updated in many years and are not as nice and allergy-free as this unit. Ceiling and walls have all been replaced with smooth, mold-free sheetrock, new flooring and cabinets. This attractive condo, decorated in a tropical motif, is situated on the second floor of the center "B" building, at the end, where your bedroom shares no neighboring wall or noise. The balcony affords unobstructed panoramic ocean views of the ocean, as we are in the middle bldg facing straight out (the 2 others angle in). This view is also shared from LR and kitchen. The sunset is very nice over the entrance/ back porch area. Being an end unit gives us a small space as back porch which the others don't have.
PRIVACY! This condo also offers individual privacy. The hall with built-in bunk beds closes off to be its own private room for smaller guests with a nightlight and air/white noise machine available. The adults can then go back and forth from balcony/LR/kitchen to BR thru the seperate batroom door without waking the kids. The sleeper sofa adds extra sleeping as needed.
**WIFI** We are installing WIFI for this condo 9/19/11, so guests no longer pay extra for the HOA- WIFI company.
We keep a few beach chairs & mats, a small/med cooler, and a some beach toys for guests to use. I also have info for a service that will set you up with wood and canvas loungers and umbrellas each morn.
You are a block from the Banana Cabana, the One Eyed Parrot, Long Island Cafe, Coconut Joe's, and many great restaurants. The world famous Windjammer beach bar offers up nightly entertainment, and Buddy Roe's Shrimp Shack in Mt. Pleasant has the best Lowcountry Shaggin (and fried shrimp baskets!)outside of OD. While enjoying the Island Life, you can go swimming, body surfing, play volleyball, dine at oceanfront restaurants, bike the beaches, jog, cruise the intercoastal waterway, sail, surf, windsurf, take in some live music, shop the boutiques. Check out the scuba diving or go deep sea fishing. Relax at a spa or try horseback riding. Kayak, parasail, water-ski, fish, go "Crabin or Shrimpin," walk the beach for shells, take a sunset cruise, charter a small boat, explore uninhabited islands, play some of the South’s finest golf courses.
1 mile away, Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is an upscale shopping experience in classic southern style. With over 65 national and local tenants, including: Banana Republic, Gap, Bath & Body Works, Caché, Men's Wearhouse and Old Navy, as well as the regions only J.Jill, Coldwater Creek and Francesca's. Sample exquisite home-made candy at Sweet Julep's Candy & Gifts, or dine in style at Guy Harvey, Longhorn Steakhouse, Chili's, TGI Friday's, Atlanta Bread Company, - there is sure to be a culinary diversion to suit your palette. After dinner, stroll the lush, tree-lined streets or relax at the luxurious Palmetto Grande 16-screen theatre. Shem Creek’s famous shrimp boats and restaurants are 10 minutes away, and the Yorktown WWII destroyer and several historical plantations are all within easy driving distance.
There are security personnel on site to ensure safety, as well as parking, beach, pool, and pier access privleges. Bikes, chairs, and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, nightly entertainment and post office are a very short walk.
Amenities: central air/heat, cable TV in LR and BR, CD player, DVD player, VCR, hair dryer, full kitchen (including spice selection and plenty of cookware), microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, new counter tops and cabinets, coffee maker and filters, linens included. Tennis court (short walk from condo across the street by realty company (tennis court for condominium guests only,) Washer and dryer (coin operated on premises), pool, no smoking, no pets, private chef service avail. Year Purchased: 2007

My name is Susan Player Verbsky; a wife and mother by God's Grace, a Psychotherapist by training, with a small practice here for 17 years, and a Real Estate investment and management specialist by design for the same time period. I enjoy the great intangible rewards of Therapy, and, equally, the tangible rewards of developing a property and working with people planning vacation time.

Why the Owner Chose Isle of Palms

After many years managing my parent"s large wonderful beachfront home that rents for $8000 a week, we invested in a Old Village rental that would be easily accessible to the beach and historic downtown, and a more affordable vacation here for smaller families/groups. Positive experiences with that rental as well motivated us to invest in a Sea Cabin. We had loved these places for years as a perfect 1 family beach/Charleston get-a-way.

The Unique Benefits of this Condo

2nd floor Views are as great as 3rd floor w/out the climb. Better rates and 2 1/2 x the size of the beachfront hotels, and much bigger balcony. Renovated kitchen and bath w/ fully replaced sheetrock walls and ceilings throughout for best allergy relief. End unit shares no BR wall with neighbor, has more open panoramic balcony, plus ours has an office below > empty at night.

Our famly had a great time at the condo! It is the perfect spot for a family. It's clean and comes with everything you need - including a hair dryer! Once you're there, you do not have to leave the area. The beach & pool, restaurants and shops are right out your door! Thanks for sharing your condo with us! We will definately be back!

We very much enjoyed our time in this beachfront condo. Condo was extremely clean and well stocked with all items we needed. Pool was clean and just outside the condo, beach only a few more steps :-) We visited late August and there were NO CROWDS! Awesome little trip.

What a wonderful vacation!! The impeccably clean and comfy condo was in the perfect location and has amazing views! The private pool and pier were added bonuses. Not only the perfect spot on IOP, but also easy to get to Sullivan's Island, Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. We absolutely loved our vacation here and having a fabulous place to stay made it even better!! Thanks, Susan, for being accomodating and providing the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful area!

Susan, Thanks for sharing your lovely condo with renters. I had a wonderful 5-night stay and wish I could have stayed longer. Your condo is nicely decorated and well-furnished and supplied...lots of little details that many owners/rental agents don't think of. My family was in the cabin rental business in the Smokies, and we often rent homes instead of hotel rooms when we travel. I haven't seen many rentals as well supplied as yours (except ours, of course :)Your recommendations for restaurants and nightlife, with lots of brochures and town guides, were very helpful. The location was ideal, and the security personnel were helpful. I hope to come back soon.

Dear Susan: Just got back from a long weekend stay at your condo and we truly enjoyed ourselves. The location is great and within walking distance of restaurants, shops etc. The condo itself is comfortable and has just about anything you need even down to the magazines and menus. The security at Sea Cabins is admirable. The security guard keeps a watchful eye out for people walking in off the street and lets them know they are not welcome. Thanks for making this a very easy transaction.

Dear Susan, Our week's vacation at your villa was sheer heaven. We had everything we needed right there, and could walk easily to beach, pool, restaurants, etc. This is a perfect place for honeymooners, couples, or small families.
