My family and I make our yearly trip to Cambria around this time of the year. We had never stayed in this house and we figure we would give it a try. This place was an unbelievable stay and value. We've stayed in hotels, beach houses, and condos with this being quite possibly the best in the area. We're a family a four and this place was more than roomy for us. You can fit multiple families in the place if you'd like. The amenities that his house offers are more than sufficient: multiple full bathrooms, large kitchen, beautiful outdoor patio, and a nice living room. Honestly, the fact that the beach is literally a stone's throw away makes this place the best in Cambria. You can hear the ocean from almost every room and it just lulls you into a peacefulness of Moonstone beach. The rental company was very easy to deal with and we had no problems at all! Will stay again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

8 of us from work decided to stay the weekend in Cambria and wine taste in Paso Robles! The house was amazing, We had a great time visiting downtown Cambria, Hearst Castle, and saw the elephant seals. We drove to Ragged Point, half an hour north, and had lunch in one of their gorgeous restaurants. We went to Paso Robles and did wine tasting, but could not wait to get back to Cambria. Moonstone Beach has amazing sunsets and is absolutely fantastic at night. The ocean views from the house are breathtaking!!! We are planning on returning to Moonstone Beach soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a beautiful house. The location is relaxing and outstanding. The home is brand new, clean, bright, and well maintained. The colors are bright and lively. You canot get anu closer to whitewater than this house is. With many windows, it appears that you are on a ship with water all around you. We grilled dinner at night while seals entertained us in the surf. We saw a few boats and there were some folks walking their dogs along the beach walkway. With these vacation rentals, you never exactly know the condition of the house until you step inside. Beach homes are a challenge because of the sun and salt water. This house was brand new and extremely well maintained. We enjoyed a couple trips to the Passo Robles wine area. We drove up to Big Sur and took so many pictures along the way. We had a wonderful time at Herast Castle. We drove down to Morro Bay and had lunch by the ocean. We visited San Luis Obispo and had a great time. The Elephant Seals Viewing is 15 minutes away. The beautiful downtown Cambria is within walking distance. The best thing about each day of our vacation was looking at the endless ocean. We had a great time and intend to return soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed here this past spring for a week. Lovely house, with great location to get to the beach, and walk around moonstone drive(solid restaurants for lunch/dinner). We were basically oceanfront; at night you could hear the waves from your bedroom, it was great! We were a group of 10 (on and off throughout the week) and the house was perfect, kitchen was well equipped and spacious, made entertaining a breeze. If you're here for a longer stay, wine country is 20 minutes away, so there was something for everyone here. Looking forward to our next visit to beautiful Cambria!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We manage this home, and in response to the above review, repairs and upgrades have been made. The towels were replaced with new ones, the BBQ is a brand new propane gas one, the heater is working properly. The Motel is still for sale. This beautiful home offers excellent views of the water, and particularly the fireworks display at the July 4th Holiday. Hope you come see for yourself!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

House was nicely furnished and comfortable, with plenty of room for our family. It was located right across the street from the beach as advertised, however, it was right next door to an abandoned motel. To be fair, you could not see the motel when inside the home. The other issues we had were: threadbare and very limited bath towels, some with holes, nonworking heat downstairs where the master bedroom and den/bedroom were located, bathroom sinks that wouldn't plug due to debri, and a rusted out BBQ. The home was obviously not maintained, which was a shame because it was an otherwise wonderful house. The management co. was responsive to our comments and did send us some clothing that one of our daughters left behind, at no charge. Would give this home another try if everything listed above was attended to.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
