THE BOAT HOUSE Located in Provincetown's quiet East End at 633 Commercial Street, THE BOAT HOUSE is perched at the water’s edge, and offers panoramic views of the ever-changing bay. At high tide you'll feel like you're on a boat! This is a very special place. Though the apartment is part of a seven-unit condominium, there’s complete privacy with sliding glass doors that open onto a private wrap-around deck. There are antiques, plants, artwork, and stained glass. The Boat House sleeps 5-6, though there's only one shower so it's a bit chummy for large groups. It has two bedrooms and an additional sleeping loft that is good-sized, but has stairs leading to it that are steep – perhaps too challenging for young children and their grandparents! The Master Bedroom has a 32” HD television and a king-sized bed. You can lie in bed and watch the sun come up over the water! The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the sleeping loft has a full-sized bed. There is a full bath with a shower, and a half-bath off the Master Bedroom. The Boat House has a small galley kitchen which is nonetheless fully equipped with lots of cookware and utensils, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, blender and food processor. You’ll also find a washer/dryer, stereo system, digital cable television, Wi-Fi, video tape and DVD player, clock radios, water filter, fans, books, games, DVD’s and CD's, iron, telephone & answering machine, a charcoal grill, deck furniture, a picnic table - oh, and a baby grand piano! Linens and towels are provided. Sorry, but condo rules don’t allow pets. The Boat House is in the far East End of Provincetown – probably a full mile to the very center of town. During the season the town operates a Shuttle Bus that stops nearby every 15-20 minutes. Available by the week from June through October. |
