Knudson House, a unique condominium property, is within walking distance to the historic district of Ephraim. Art galleries, museums, parks, shops, dining, water activities, are just a few of the offerings to be enjoyed for adults and children alike. There is even an outdoor theater that features newly released films, and live theater is also available--Peninsula Players and the American Folklore Theater.
This fully remodeled cottage is a two-story (open winding staircase) with a master bedroom and bath on each floor making this unit ideal for two couples. There is an entrance on each level that facilitates privacy if so desired. The property also provides beach toys, lawn games, and numerous family DVD's to keep the children engaged whatever their interests might be.
A heated pool is next to this unit and the sandy beach is a short walk down (two stairways). The Knudson House is a quiet, private association that offers a unique vacation experience.

Why the Owner Chose Ephraim
I have always enjoyed Door County from childhood on. My parents and brothers and sisters used to go camping at Peninsula State Park. There are so many activities for families - miniature golf, go carts, fishing, swimming, beach activities, boating, to name a few.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
There are so many opportunities to relax - sunrises, sunsets, reading under a shade tree or on the beach, watching the sail boats go by, swimming in the bay or the heated pool, hiking,walking to downtown Ephraim for an ice cream cone, people-watching, checking out the library, renting a paddle or sail boat, taking sailing lessons, playing tennis at the village offices, and so many more things - shopping fish boils, visiting the state parks (4 in the area), taking in a play or two, watching an outdoor movie.

This was my first trip to Door County and staying at the Knudson House was a great way to be introduced to the area. The photos do not do justice to how cute the house is. It is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. I loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the peninsula reading a book or watching the sunset. The easy access to art galleries, dinning, and water fun was perfect. There is also a wonderful place for massages right up the street! I look forward to staying here again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
