This is a fabulous villa; if anything, it is more beautiful than the photos. What you don't see in these pictures are the amazing sunsets over the Pacific, the toucans in the trees around the pool and the contented family members in the hot tub after dark. We had a great time here and Edgardo is amazingly helpful; he set up surfing lessons, zip-lining, a boat trip to Corcovado and drew us beautiful maps to help us find waterfalls and restaurants. Everything is perfectly clean and extremely comfortable; it is a delightful spot.

Had an amazing 4 weeks here. The property is amazing- even nicer than the pictures. The sunset by the pool every night is incredible, and it was so nice to have a full kitchen and a gas grill to cook sometimes, given that we stayed for a month. Close to town, but just far enough away to feel like you are living by yourself in the jungle. Toucans and other animals are always flying around above you.

This place is amazing! I have loved every minute of my stay here. The house is beautiful and clean with all the comforts of home. Watching the sunset over the Pacific from the pool or upper porches is an experience not to be missed. Also, the proximity to Domical is so convenient, as the town is a great place to eat, go to the beach, hang out, and plan fun trips locally or anywhere in CR! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, (especially Edgardo) it’s impossible to not have fun doing whatever you want to do on your trip to CR. Pura Vida!

My colleagues and I stayed at Paradise Breezes for an entire month. The pictures we had seen prior to our arrival were gorgeous, but could not measure up to how phenomenal the villas were once we arrived. The views are spectacular, the onsite staff was available at all hours, and the amenities were even more than we could have asked for. The villas are set away atop a mountain, overlooking the ocean. They're only about 3 miles away from the main town of Dominical; which has wonderful restaurants with traditional Costa Rican food, an exciting night life and plenty of beautiful beaches. I would definitely return here for another vacation.

I really enjoyed my stay at Paradise Breezes. When i arrived, i could not believe how nice everything is. The house has an infinity pool, jacuzi, and a ridiculous view. Every night i was here for my months stay, i felt like i was in paradise. There is also an on site gym that has everything that you need. I worked out everyday that i was here. In addition, it is very close to the city of Dominical which has lots to do, beautiful beaches, good surfing and amazing night life. I would definitely come back here. Pura Vida!!!!!

A perfect five day pre-xmas getaway with friends. Exploring the local beach, horseback riding to stunning waterfalls, snorkeling & dolphin/turtle/humpback sighting at Cano island, zip lining, exploring Manuel Antonio national park, sunsets by the pool, fantastic dinner by Wilbur, ... Luxurious, relaxing, beautiful, fun, ... Edgardo always just a touch away on the cell phone he provided for us. So much to do close by and such temptation to just hang out in a beautiful well furnished home. The perfect vacation dilemma. One of our favorite rentals!

Our family of 6 adults (22-60 years old) stayed at the largest of the villas during the last week of December 2009. We have rented villas in other countries, but never rented one that was as wonderful as this. The view of the Pacific ocean was magnificent, the wild birds beautiful, and environs luscious. The villa is built into the side of a mountain to maximize privacy. I would expect to see a villa as beautiful and contemporary in design as this on the side of a mountain in southern California, but not in Central America. The gym facility has everything -- including a climb back up to the villa that is a challenge and itself a good workout. The concierge was available whenever needed and handled all of our scheduling requests. We never had reason to try any of the restaurants because the cook was so wonderful, and we booked extra massages after the first one because the masseur made us feel so good. My only concern with recommending this villa is that it will become so popular that it won't be available when we want to

Paradise Breezes is amazing! From the moment we arrived at the house we were at ease. We came to relax and spend time with our little ones (3yr&5yrs old). That is exactly what we did. Carlos was ever so helpful. The area is beautiful and not touristy. We went in July and I was abit worried about the weather. No need to. It was beautiful every day. Paradise. If you are traveling with children I highly recommend staying here. The staff is so nice, the views are amazing and dont forget to look up at the blanket of stars. We cant wait to return. One more thing- I would get up in the am before the kids, brew a pot of coffee and watch the cute little animals come with their families and eat in the trees next to the pool. The first and best alone time since kids.

Set in a spectacular location, Paradise Breezes is a small enclave of 1st Class, self-catering, luxury Villas, each 3-4 bedrooms with full baths, and a small but stunning self-contained studio. All have amazing views across verdant slopes that sweep into the Pacific Coast. The nearby beach is suitably untamed, and wonderful for treks and sunset drinks. Via the incredibly friendly, capable, bilingual Concierge there is access to all-manner of 'eco' treks and adventures, from zip-lining through the forest canopy to riding through treacherous gullies to reach spectacular waterfalls – we loved each unique experience. The property is beautifully maintained and landscaped, extremely sophisticated, and very appealing to a wide audience from those with more urban tastes to others seeking a simple 'away-from-it-all' experience. Each Villa boasts its own infinity pool and Jacuzzi, and a beautiful gym on the property means that your every need is catered to if you never wish to leave the property. This is the ultimate luxury jungle retreat. Paradise!

I had never been to Costa Rica and I was looking forward to my trip. I was expecting nice accomodations based on what friends had told me about this resort, but when I got to Paradise Breezes I was blown away! Amazing.. truly. We arrived at night and honestly after traveling for a long distance along a bumpy, dusty gravel road any resort that offered a paved driveway would have seemed like Edan, but upon entering our villa we knew we were in for a special stay. Our villa, of which there are several, was modern and comfortable; large glass windows and doors, stone and tile floors, tall wood ceilings, modern art, and a central sound system inside and out (bring CD's). It had it's own infinty-edged swimming pool, a very warm spa and an outdoor shower. There were 4 bedrooms each with their own bath and terrace. And it was while sipping drinks on one of those terraces during sunset that we watched a fascinating conflict between a large, unyielding iguana and an aggitated tucan posturing for territory; several drinks later the outcome was still unresolved. Were these beasts of Nature, we asked ourselves, or pets on Paradise Breezes' payrole? The display was just too suspiciously perfect. The first morning we laid in bed, deep in crisp white sheets looking out over a verdant jungle towards the expanse of the Pacific Ocean; we could have laid there all day and would have been just fine... but. But, as you may or may not know this part of Costa Rica offers a lot to do and see. The resort's capable concierge who is both friendly and unwittingly cute arranged all our outings including snorkling, zip lining, horseback riding and dining. A couple of times he arranged to have a chef, an excellent chef, come and cook for us in house. He also arranged to have a masseuse rub us down every afternoon after our various adventures which, if you can imagine, was the perfect way to sooth our exilerated, but beleaguered muscles; a keen segway to the afore mentioned drinks (buy alcohol at the airport upon arrival). We stayed 4 nights, but in truth we could have used a few more; we never got that day of just lying around the pool... next time. Not to go on and on, but I truly can't say enough about our stay. I can't imagine any resort offering a more sublime and complete experience. Thank you Paradise Breezes... seriously; I can't wait to come back!

"Over a year ago we first visited Paradise Breezes as we searched for the perfect locale for our daughter's wedding. We immediately fell in love with the villa (Buena Vista), as well as the surrounding areas. When choosing lodging, especially in luxury settings such as this, the photos can be misleading. The polish of professional photographers can cover a multitude of sins. This was not the case of Paradise Breezes. Pictures cannot capture the sweeping beauty of the view from the many balconies over looking the Pacific. The interior was spacious and impeccably furnished. The architecture was gorgeous as well sturdy, it withstood the 6.3 earthquake we experienced. In addition to the incredible building, the staff was second to none. Friendly and helpful, they were able to accommodate any request. The location was close to Domincal. These are the reasons that we decided have our daughter's wedding ceremony on the grounds at Paradise Breezes. A special mention must be made for Ray, the concierge. He was the best we have encountered in our travels. He coordinated staff for various parts of the wedding week. From chefs, manicurists & a masseuse for the Bridal party to landscapers to completely transform an empty, overgrown lot into the perfect site for a rain forest wedding, including a ranchito, an alter and pews, guardrails, and even a 20 foot palm tree with coconuts. Thank you to all of the Paradise Breezes staff for making the event perfect." /

We planned a family reunion aboard a windjammer, however 2 days prior to sailing the trip was cancelled - STRANDED! Rick replied ot our S.O.S. and we landed in Paradise (Breezes that is). Our family was able to enjoy each other and all the wonderful things around us. The tucans, monkeys and humming birds were a few of our greatest pleasures as well, as the view, sunsets and hot tub after a day of surfing or horseback riding! Buena Vista became our home for one week thanks to Cesar and all the staff who works so hard and are so friendly and helpful. As for Rick... You are the MAN! Thank you and God bless you (The kids said that!) Our ship never sailed. Last minute plans we hailed. Thanks to Rick for returning our call, we had the most memorable week of all!

We arrived in a driving rainstorm to San José. Our flight was cancelled to Quepos so we took a taxi over the mountain. After a 4 hour journey, we picked up our car in Quepos and made the adventurous trek to Paradise Breezes. It was wonderful to arrive at this beautiful Oasis! Rick had the kitchen fully stocked! We awoke the next morning to a beautiful sunrise and beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. We spent sometime in Dominical everyday and got to know the local scene. We took a zip line tour of the rain forest and saw many beautiful animals. Friends in Dominical took us to a beach just south of Dominical where the waves have beat a beautiful and magical cave out of the mountain. We also hiked to a gorgeous waterfall and took mudbaths! We have enjoyed bautiful sunsets and all of the wonderful amenities of this secluded paradise in the forest. Thanks for enhancing this fantastic experience to Costa Rica. We appreciate Cesar and Rick for being awesome hosts. See you next time!

There is only one problem with Casa Buena Vista. The pictures in the website do not reflect just how beautiful this house is and how spectacular a view the house has of the ocean. This is a firve star accomodation. I would, without any hesitation recommend staying here to anyone. Beyond that, the staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed. I look forward to a return visit
